Samyang 7.5mm F3.5 Fisheye Lens 

Thanks, Robert. Derrick Story posted about this lens and piqued my interest, so I'm doing a bit of research. Since I'm adding a used E-M5 II to my arsenal (hopefully next week), can't buy the 7.5mm for a bit, but it's moved to the top of my list, even above a new bag, so you know I'm interested!

How do you defish your photos with Samyang 7.5mm?

Did you crop or adjust some of the example pictures? Some of the pictures seem to have the fisheye distortion more than others.

Have you used this for video? does the lack of autoi focus make it difficult to get useable footage while moving?

did you have any problem with image stabilization . I need to turn it off. or it seems to shake image on camera

Do I need to have a specific mount for Olympus epl5? Or can I buy any advertised micro 4/3 I see on Amazon?

Great vid. This looks perfect for use with my Panny GX80/85. I was concerned about focusing until I saw the bit in you vid say set it to f/5.6 and set infinity a over f/4. What if I wanted to use it wide open, would the same apply?

Why not set focus to infinity? f5,6 should be enough to get dof at infinity, i don't understand why you set it back to f4

Which camera is that? Om-d em 5 MKII?

Are 60d compatible for this lens?

Hi Robert and thank you for the review. the images at the end where lovely. I have never used manual lens before and am a beginner in photography looking for a cheaper alternative to the pro lens by olympus. In this manual lens if I want to take a photo of landscape at f/16 1) what mode do I place the camera on i.e P.A.S.M? and will my camera show me the fluctuation between shutter speeds as I bump up the iso or change aperture etc etc? Thank you for even considering entertaining this embarrising post of mine but I couldn't help but accept your invitation to ask questions. Cheers. Stephen

Has anyone come up with a solution for attaching filters to bulbous lenses? Maybe I'll have to find a slower lens that will accept filters.

So my Dear Friend... I would spend extra €100 and get this Samyang better than Olympus 9mm for 100 or €120. Just still Customs tax, must find an european seller.
