@@Thedude1357 But they aren't "blinded by nostalgia"... The new editions are junk, plain & simple. I've played through the game modded recently, it's not "nostalgia." I get that kids like to claim that when anyone prefers something old, but it's almost always baseless bs to make them feel better... Yes, they are goofy games & silly things can happen with the physics, that doesn't change the FACT that the new editions are god awful & running on an engine they were never intended to run on. Most old games have issues with high framerates. They were never designed to run over 30fps, which was perfectly acceptable in their day. High framerates result in some interesting physics glitches, among other unintended side effects.
Due to poorly done collisions in de plus the higher fps means you essentially drove into a wall at full speed with an already damaged car. Plus given you cant tell the car is smoking, once again thanks de, you will blow up before you can even get out of the car, due to the fps issues.
I mean this is probably because of the definitive edition but as someone who still regularly plays the original SA I can say that this looks absolutely like something that can happen
san andreas physics are weird. cars will explode for random reasons all the time, i have another vid on my channel where a bunch of cars in a parking lot just randomly start exploding lmfao
If these ramp trucks have invisible barriers that cause my car to explode 10 seconds after making impact, I’m staying as far as fucking possible from them irl. 😂
