Yesterday my family and I along with other families who have lost loved ones to AIDS gathered at the San Antonio AIDS Foundation (SAAF) to remember our sweet angels. Never in my life a year ago did I think that I would being doing this. At about this time last year my family thought my cousin had the flu and we took him to the ER only to find out it was much worse. He never returned back to his home after that day but thanks to the great work done at the SAAF house we all were able to be with my cousin and comfort him in his final journey. The SAAF house became our home and to them we are eternally grateful. We love and miss our sweet Steve Briones. #endaids #redballoonrelease
