Have been to London, Paris and Rome. Now, let's go to San Antone, the River Walk, maybe a little haven on earth. Let's go to San Antone, and have a lot of fun on the River Walk!!!
In the early seventies I purchased an album by the great Lloyd Green called Steel Rides. The opening track was San Antonio Rose. I remember it blew me away, Lloyd's picking was incredible and I thought it would take a hell of a player to match him. Well, it's happened. Dave your playing is fantastic and I'm sure if Lloyd heard your version he would be the first to congratulate you.
Love it guys. Brings memories back when I was still living at home and my parents use to have band jams. My step dad played the base, big birtha he called it. Thanks so much for sharing.
Oh my. I use to get the guitar out as a little boy and the next words I would here from mama is, Preston, play the San Antonio Rose and Under the Double Eagle, son. My my. I'm an old man now.
Very nice guys! You two really play well together. You just seem to know where your place is and how to make it beautiful. Keep up the fantastic work. Thank you very much!
Damn that was good and that telecaster. 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤ Some fine guitar work right there. Glen Campbell would of loved that. Great work both of you. Hello from Australia.
David!!! Where's "Crazy Arms" on iTunes!? I NEED IT! Please! I love you and John sooo much! Since I can't choose between you, I'll take you both! LOL Thank you so much for putting your music on iTunes.
Simply AWESOME mates!! Bob Wills is smiling down on you both! John, please share some of the story of your well worn axe, how long have you had it and I'm sure it has a long history of music making in your hands.. How about a RU-vid piece on that mighty Telecaster.... please..??
FANTASTIC performance Guys. Sure would like to see some more, new videos you do. How about you and John doing, " King of the Road? " Would sure sound AWESOME on your instruments. Best Regards, Linda :)
it would be great if this was remixed and the gain on the six string was boosted a little. Of course, the pedal steel is faultless but the guitar parts are so tasteful and interesting I'd love to hear it more.
