Today at Lake Poway another 1500lbs of Trout were stock after the Opener...Trout were caught left and right...and I manage to land a few on my bfs set up with Mini Jigs and Spoon!
The trout at Lake Poway are very finicky compared to Lake Jennings more active and are ready to bite... today was 1 short of a limit...thanks for watching!
I was there opening day, but we were on a boat. We skunked, but saw people catching. Dixon season opener was the same day, haven't heard how their opening was.
Sorry to hear that you got skunk...this was a week after opener they stock another 1500lbs as for Dixon I have no idea...but they usually hold big Trout there...good luck on your next trip if you decide to go.
Nice...Bass is always fun big or small especially Bass fishing...as for the Trout here at Poway it was tuff but they were biting here and there...good luck on your next outing.Ps bfs fishing is addicting.
