Louisiana here. New Orleans to be specific. For 5 years I never caught it. I'm pretty careful and live alone. I tend not to socialize. ( people now a days are.. weird). Not sure how I got it but it's been 10 days. Sniffles, chills, low grade fever, horrible taste in my mouth, dizzy like vertigo and the worst fatigue. ( I wake up tired). Fever is gone, most of all the symptoms are except for the taste, dizzy and, fatigue.

Got it wash my hands like crazy but if others are not doing what needs to be done. It’s obviously very contagious 😷 really was a rough time for us getting it again but no more Vaxx for me this is just a business for the companies and government. Really infuriates me as we had to use my sick time and out of pocket money for test. We should not have to pay for government errors

This is weird. My 3 year old daughter just got diagnosed with Covid. We live in Scripps. She ran a fever around 101 all day Tuesday. It peaked at 102 at 10pm that night and she was miserable with a sore throat and a productive cough, so I brought her to the ER. By the time she was diagnosed with Covid and we were leaving at 12:30am, my daughter was happy and had a 98.6 temp again. She was happy and asymptomatic all day Wednesday but then she'd get a sore throat and cough from about 9:30pm to 2am for the next three nights. Then, she woke up with a lingering sore throat on Friday (yesterday) and took a four hour nap until 4:30. She's been happy and playful and asymptomatic ever since. The docs just told me to give her plenty of fluids and try to keep her germs away from everyone. It's just really really weird, though. I mean, it was nice of the virus to let my daughter be happy and play like her usual self during the days but the flu and strep throat never did that for me when I was a kid. Kids these days are spoiled.

I had a book way before the pandemic started, and I began comparing COVID-19 recently. We are basically living through the Spanish Flu again. The Spanish Flu peaked in the colder months, but still persisted high year-round. The mutations started happening because of the vaccine, not naturally. Many people refused to get vaccinated at times, making the pandemic last longer. Also, the mutations were quick and it was hard to stop. Eventually, it became seasonal because people started listening. However, COVID-19 will be like that one day, just not now. Many people pretend the pandemic is over, but it is nowhere near over. Many people were also like this during the Spanish Flu. COVID-19 will just be the longer version of that virus.

Im from nyc. I went to a concert in san diego and got the covid for the first time last year after I was always careful since the pandemic began. No one cares over there. It’s ridiculous.

Death is not what I am afraid of from COVID-19. This virus wrecks your immune system like crazy and makes you sick all the time. I am worried about long-term effects, rather than the short-term effects. We are definitely still in a pandemic, because this has not become seasonal. Even though hundreds of people die every day and it is scary, that is still not what I am afraid of. I wear a mask in stores whenever COVID-19 is high.
