If all they are going to do is clean the property that's not solving the root problem. All those boxes didn't magically stack themselves in the house. The homeowner needs serious help.
The receiver already cleaned up this house in 2021... they spent months pulling rotting garbage out of the house and incurred a bill of $132,000. I spent months watching poor guys who had to wear hazmat suits to enter that house. And now they're going to do that again. How many times and how much money will we the taxpayers spend to let one woman live in a 4 bedroom house with an ocean view? The police are here every week to deal with her harassing behavior. It's beyond belief. Last time she just immediately started bringing that stuff back in. She needs mental help, not for the city to clean up her house every 3 years.
I agree with all you say, but the fact it’s 4 bd with ocean view is irrelevant. Even folks living in a trailer home community should not have to put up with her.
Extreme hoarding and lack of cleaning is a sickness and needs to be addressed as such. Once a house is tagged with extreme filth, it impacts neighbors and poses risks to the homeowner. There needs to be a cleaning deadline rather than take up years in the courts.
That lady homeowner might have some issues. The company that cleans up that house will have to wear hazmat suits, and breath through respirators. Those unfortunate neighbors.
