INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 4-12-22 6:00 am
LOCATION: La Jolla Shores beach
CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:
A large boat came ashore sometime in the early morning. The boat was not discovered until first light. The boat is believed to have carried undocumented immigrants. City Lifeguards and State Park Rangers checked the boat and found no one onboard. The U.S. Border Patrol has been notified.

These boats are being load onto in Ensenada and launch into the All Santos Bay. Low tide was around 1am and high tide at 630am…

With no engine, it probably means that boat was towed up the coast and left close offshore to drift in with the tide.

@@911VideoNews That boat would have inboard-outboard engines. The engines might still be in there, but the two outboard units that should be under the swim platform are missing. 0:59 In your close-up ( 1:19 ) you can see some sort of ugly patch on the left outboard hole. I presume the right is similar.

Looks like an 80s 32' Bayliner Conquest. Looks like one or both outdrives have been ripped off the boat by running aground, assuming this boat was actually used for smuggling. Not worth the money to retrofit, given price of functional instances on the used market.
