In this News 8 Throwback special, we dive deep into the history of the San Diego Padres from their early days in the Pacific Coast League to MLB years. Historian Bill Swank provides a history lesson in 2003, and from there we showcase championship seasons 1984 and 1998 when they made it to the World Series. When they were down three games to the Yankees, Larry Himmel wrote the most inspiring poem to lift our spirits.
