I don’t think the 2021 class is anything to scoff at. Deommodore Lenoir, Aaron Banks, Talanoa Hufanga, and Elijah Mitchell are all key contributors

Ji’ayir Brown became a starter after Hufanga’s injury last year and will likely be a starter next season. Also, Spencer Burford is not a starter anymore…lost his job to Feliciano last year and will probably be battling for a roster spot during camp.

People forget that the 49ers traded up six spots in the 2020 draft to get Brandon Aiyuk. That was deemed by the talking heads to be a “reach”. That worked out pretty well.

Bro honestly the niners havnt done that bad with their picks the last few years. Besides the trading 3 1st rounders to move up for QB trey lance ofcourse... i mean its not like all the other 31 teams in the NFL kill it in the draft every year. They have found some sleepers too. Talanoa Hufonga, Brock Purdy, Lenior, Jayer brown. Has the potential to be Good Possibly. Elijah mitchell. The reason they have been able to build arguably one of the best rosters in the whole league is because they have hit on draft picks....
@jasonwhite6061

Jy'Aire Brown, 3rd pick, likely starter going forward. This Niners regime seem to find starters in every draft often in round 3 or later Just glad Trent Baalke is no longer making whacky picks for the Niners

Recency bias is hurting the niners fan base, they often forget that John and Kyle drafted Kittle, Deebo, Aiyuk, Bosa, Warner, Greenlaw, and Wishnowsky, they have drafted a lot of bangers over the years and built this team nicely around it. Pearsall is a good fit for them because he's going to hit all those little check marks that they like to emphasize.

Bosa and aiyuk are The only first rounders all the rest of those pics are like late round except for Deno. Debo was a find but preferably I would like my team to have nothing but fourth and fifth round picks. We kill those rounds we don't need first round draft picks

Another fabricated piece of nonsence thing is niners are really good so it's not that they don't like playing rookies look back before they became a perennial contender Thomas,kittle,Warner,greenlaw, mcglinchy,deemo,deebo,aiyuk,Pettis,foster,bosa,and many more played as rookies if your good enough you will play,what I will admit is tie goes to the vet.

I love how every single channel and sports analyst has to tiptoe around the very obvious stereotypes holding people back in the NFL right now. It's like everybody is forced to play it off like it's some sort of joke but everything they said is true about Ricky. He's literally one of the most athletic prospects to have ever come out of the combine and one of the best receivers in the draft. Yet everybody takes one look at his skin color and says "oh he's not athletic and can only play slot at best." How many other wide receivers from highschool and college don't even bother trying because they know they're going to never get a second look because of their skin color? Isn't this the exact problem that quarterbacks had for the longest time? Look at what happened to Cooper DeJean. It's like you're always playing behind the eight ball unless you're black at this point and there's literally no reason for it except it's acceptable to be racist towards whites.
@dbell2091
@dbell2091 16 дней назад
While I do think that’s a fair point for some of the media “draft experts” but I don’t think the NFL does that. Pearsall went in the 1st so it didn’t hold him back. DeJean only dropped because he’s either a scheme specific corner or a safety, and even though he’s good those tend to drop farther then they should. And Christian McCaffrey was a top 10 pick
@usnairframer
@usnairframer 16 дней назад
@@dbell2091 I think we put the NFL teams on a bit of a pedestal on this matter. We know for a fact this level of race-based stereotyping exists at the player level, particularly if you ever listened to that WR from the Packers a few years ago talk about it (his name isn't coming to mind). He would say that he would be taunted as the "white wide-receiver" and cornerbacks didn't take him seriously until he burned them down the field. Most people didn't take Christian McCaffrey seriously as a RB until the past few years, and he's treated as an anomaly. And yes, it's likely many teams looked down on DeJean for his skin as well for that position. This is the same league that had the QB position dominated by white dudes for nearly its entire existence, and now the stereotype is that the black QB always needs to be able to run. There are major stereotypes throughout the NFL still that hold people back. But, as it's human nature, it's hard to find a solution.

@dbell2091
@dbell2091 16 дней назад
Who Pearsall? He was a consensus top 50 player, most analysts had him going early to mid 2nd, and that’s just because of how deep the WR class was. I do agree about the team needs, but I’m guess Lynch knows he’s going to have to move on from one of Aiyuk or Deebo sometime soon
@ninerempire3398
@ninerempire3398 15 дней назад
Breh, they picked an olineman, corner , and a safety. They literally drafted everything you’re talking about. What do aiyuk , samuel , and jennings have to cry about ? They’re making millions already and you have to pay purdy
