What we really need is for Kyle to trust CMC when it's 4th and 2 at the 20 yard line to take those two yards. Maintain possession and go finish the drive with a touchdown and not settle for a field goal. This is twice now in the Superbowl against the chiefs he's done this.

The question to ask is can Brock play on this level outside of Kyle’s system? If so then yes but if not no. Don’t wanna over pay for a guy that’s a system guy like Deebo who’s amazing in our system but I’m not sure if he can be the same player else where

If Brock had two more years left, I’d wait this year out and if he plays consistently like he has then I would possibly give him an extension, certainly not the highest paid qb I definitely don’t see that but he may deserve the extension before due date because of how good he’s been.

Brown and Hufamga are both a strong safety neither are a true free safety not the other way around but other than that yea agreed they need a true free safety like Earl Thomas was for Seattle

100% I don't know what Chase is thinking here. Traditionally Strong Safety is the guy that is in the box. Over the years both positions have become a little more interchangeable, but Chase is tripping with this take.

Niners seem to struggle against AFC teams… if they make it to the SB again, they could be facing KC, BAL, CIN(?), or BUF(?). They need to get free agents from the AFC like Simmons and Blackmon as they’re familiar with these teams.

@dtb49ers everyone deserves to get paid, this is a business at the end of the day. But our luck has shown paying our QB's(Kap and Grappolo) big contracts and same results. We have other more important matters to address our OLine for starters, while we have Purdy at cheap build up then pay him is my opinion

Wow....Brock Purdy has not earned that money. We're acting as though Brock came in and turned things around we've been winning before him . With him we've lost 3 to 5 games a year just as we did before him. We've been to the championship and Super Bowl and have been turned around as not good enough before him and with him. What is the difference between him and us before him?

Look we know he is not elite yet but it’s the going rate for a starting QB right now and before him we never came back when trailing games in the 2nd half and we have never had a QB ranked in the top 3-5 in every QB statistical category in a year so you can’t just say there is no difference if he plays this year like he did last year then I think you have to pay him

@brandondenmark10 We haven't had any comebacks except for Maybe Detroit, wherein it was both CMC and Moody, our kicker who scored all the points and got us down the field. It's not a comeback of were down 10 points. A comeback implies a sizable deficit, and Jimmy has accomplished that as has Alex Smith, Kap, and Mullens. If 40 million doesn't hurt our roaster, I'm behind it, but our tram is more valuable than Purdy without the big talents on this team

@brandondenmark10 My point with Jimmy is how he has done what Brock has nothing more. But In week 18 againstthe Rams, Jimmy G threw for 316 yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions, but helped the 49ers rally from being down 17-3 at halftime and won 27-24 in overtime, sending the us to the playoffs.
