Listen to the reporting, it's Section 8. The city is paying the subsidy until the renters can make their way through the federal Section 8 application process. 3 years is actually quick. If you need Section 8 housing apply for it.

This type of program needs to be defunded immediately. It needs to be illegal to use public funds both state and federal on anyone that is not a citizen or permanent resident. No state funds can be spent if the organization takes federal money. No pending asylum. No DACA.
Our communities need to be RE-DESIGNED to integrate more legal resources, shelter resources, coops, food stations in exchange for daily/weekly community employment, with integrated community groups, mental health, drug treatment and healthcare services as a WAY of LIFE.

These are the migrants that came in. They put a story around it. They purchased these RVs from the auction or probably didn’t even purchase them gave them RVs and then now they gave them housing which people have been on list for years waiting for housing, but they got put as priority
Property owners won’t partner with county, gov agencies on average, because you loose your property rights and right to evict. There are some agencies who will partner with gov agencies. All you have to do is look at sec 8 housing.

This will make more people will come to San Francisco for free housing. They not from San Francisco. But they get benefits, free housing, free health care, free education. Plus 900 dollars per persons for spending. Why should we work and pay taxes . Benefits go to people that don’t pay taxes.

It is a stressful nightmare, even if you are provided housing, everyone would prefer to be able to provide for themselves independent and retain their freedom and self-respect which is always questioned by ignorant people who have never dealt with poverty and societal abuses.
