Hi Amanda, Thanks for your question. We've had this bag for about 2 years now, hasn't missed a beat really as far a quality goes. There are a few pros and cons from using though. Pros: Sturdy Side pockets are a decent size Looks good in my opinion Good size Cons: Really hard to fit on my canopy spare wheel, lots of straps that go everywhere. To be fair doesn't move much when fitted The top is a bit of a pain to get into as you have to roll it up each time, and if you've been driving on dusty roads, when you unroll to open it up the dust can go everywhere. THe sections inside for rubbish and recycle are good, it's just hard to keep the two bags up at the top as there is not latching mechanism for them. Hope that helps? Richo
Mate, nearly every time Ando’s gone camping lately it been absolutely chucking it down. Last time down near Grafton it was properly wet, saturating rainfall. His tent was dry, no leaks from the rain. However, he did have a bit of condensation in the morning due to everything being closed up tight all night and no airflow. So far so good though
We struggled with them. Ended up basically running them around the whole tent and tied them together in a knot. Didn’t want to start drilling holes for them. Has worked out well though and hasn’t let us down yet
You ask "Should you buy it" can i ask did you buy for it ? As there is a ridiculous amount of gear being thrown at RU-vid influencers from companies these days that it's getting harder to sort the truth from the Bullshit.
Agreed, hard to pick what’s what. We were sent it up to do an honest review, that’s what we did. My integrity means more than a product. I have a bush company RTT that I paid for, and honestly both have their benefits and shortcomings. Depends on your situation and budget. I honestly believe this is good value for money.
@@Southern_Cross_Adventures it’s from outback equipment I think, Ando was given it as a Christmas present from one of his mates. I have identical ones in the camper trailer. Got those from Road Tech Marine, think about $20-$30
Its actually more difficult than many people think. That is, to do a review on a bit of kit. I review stuff on my channel as well as my other channels. Its always free and often I get paid for my time to make the videos. From our point of view, its always going to be just a little bias. Thats not because we get it for free, its because we have the benefit of having the bit of kit in our hands and its what we are focussed on. We can see the pros and cons of that specific bit of kit. Whereas, if we are researching a bit of kit to buy, we are looking at everything, every brand and trying to find the pros and cons of all of them. I can say that if someone sends something (I do a lot more reviews on my photography channel) and its a POS, it doesnt get a video at all. No point having people question your credibility for the safe of a video.
