San Holo was the first EDM show I went to, and now here I am 5 years later making shitty beats and going to every show/festival I can. This man changed my life in so many ways
I sae him for the first time a few months ago. His set was amazing and unlike most sets of the weekend, there was really something to hold onto and take take. A lot of bass music feels like it’s throw away after a few months… artists like San Holo make you really feel something. It’s recently started to add some change to my music, and I feel like there’s more depth now

I appreciate producers who are not scared of showing their "tricks", because they know their ultimate trick is just in how they think about the world, which cannot be copied.
100%. Anybody can make cool/popular sounds and put a track together. But not everyone can show their authentic self in their music. I feel like bass music specifically is lacking authenticity… it’s like everyone wants to be part of the cool club and not be unique. Sure, some are… but it seems like riddim has taken over and the artists are a starting to have similar gimmicks (mask of some sort) with almost the exact same sounds/styles
Do you think he rocks the clipper on the master when creating and in the mastering stage he deactivates it/ then masters/ then adds it right at the end to get the sound he was working to in the creative stage? just a thought :)

Electric Zoo 2023 still has not given refunds to this day. They cancelled first day due to “supply chain issues” but construction workers posted pics and videos sayinf they were given enough time to build the sets. Day 1 got cancelled like 2 hours before it was supposed to start. Day 2 got pushed back 2 hours and 3 stages were still incomplete until about 7pm. Day 3 was smooth until they denied people entry and got ruwhed at the gates and everyone got it. Artists are awesome to see locally, but what a nightmare Made Event aka Avant Gardner (who recently purchased Main Event. The worst thing is they have several big clubs in NYC and keep operating like nothing happened and like acting like they don’t have to give refunds
Person who said the Skrill packs didn't have the serum presets. My bad lol, I had just completely forgotten that the serum presets are in .fxp. One question though, do you still have the Equinox presets available for download? The Equinox video says free downloads though it's not there on the page w/ the other Skrill packs.
I'm in massibe trying to emulate the sub sound on "A moment of truth" but it sounds nothing like what is in the stream. SquareSaw + SqareSaw +12 and a filter low pass 4 resonance up and cutoff automation. help anyone got any ideas?
