Hi Gareth. I'm from Puerto Rico and that was really accurate! We go to Rio Piedras or Club Brava on Thursdays, Condado or Placita on Fridays and on Saturdays we go to Old San Juan :)

Puerto Rico and Boricuas does it best baby that's a fact small tiny island but what talents and flavor and beauty and food and music and culture gigantic. I'm italian and out of all the Latin Spanish speaking countries I say PUERTO RICO Is theee best by farrr amazing beaches the food is like no other ... put it this way they glamorize Mexican food like it's great and it doesn't touch or come near Puerto Rican food and all Latin America will say Puerto Rico has the best tasting food hands down. Puerto Rican food is a hidden Mystery it's like they say if it's "GOYA" it's got to be good that it's from Puerto Rico;/)
Only time I was in P.R. I stayed at the El Conquistador. One of those franchisee meetings with Pearl Vision. Had a good time. Was surprised at how much trash people leave everywhere. When we got there the beaches at the other resorts were pristine. After a weekend of partying you couldn't even see the sand anymore for the garbage.

hey im going to san jaun. what place has the best nightlife old san jaun or condado? im goingt o chose my hotel based on ease of getting around for nightlife.
both are greats(condado and old san juan, but in condado the hotels are better, Caribe Hilton, Condado Plaza and, Marriot, are good choices, in Old San Juan the Sheraton is good enough, both places are 5 minutes in car each other.
