I just returned from my second solo cruise. I really love not having to worry about anyone else. It’s my time and I can do what I want. It’s so exhilarating

I LOVE SOLO TRAVEL! I am retired and have been going going going...lol I'm going solo on a 10 day cruise to Alaska leaving out of San Francisco. Since I live in So Cal, I'm adding a road trip leading up to that. Because of you, I'm adding Puerto Rico to my 2024 bucket list😊.

I have done cruises out of San Juan and stopped in San Juan for port of call too.

One of these days I’m going to be brave and do a solo trip. I’m currently enjoying solo lunch/dinner dates. Guess it’s preparing me to eat solo for my future solo trips. Thanks for sharing. Puerto Rico is a nice quick trip The beaches are clean and the food is delicious and depending where you are short flights. That was a nice room you had.

Royal Carribean has a cruise route that leaves from San Juan. It was an 8-day cruise that left on a Saturday.

I've been on a few cruises with Carnival that stop in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It's usually part of the longer itineraries (6-7 nights). It's a great port!

Hi Lia....i love PR. I've visited a few times. I actually was there in November cruising with Carnival. It's a great spot to port and visit Old San Juan. I also flew there and took a cruise with RC but the ship didn't leave from that spot. They have or had another spot to board the ship. Love watching your solo trips which has inspired me to take a few. Chicago was one that I visited last October because of you. Looking forward to your next solo adventure.

I love this I'm going in January I also had lots of flight credits to use by March 2024 Puerto Rico always been on my lis that hotel was nice food looked delicious definitely do some excursions when traveling solo, I think they really help elevate the experience of solo traveling the perfect balance I'm also going to New York in June solo excited kinda nervous staying in Midtown hotels are crazy expensive in New York Manhattan area especially.

I’ve been on a cruise that left out of Puerto Rico but I haven’t been to outside of that. I need to plan a trip! Maybe even a solo trip 👀you have encouraged me to dip my toes in the solo travel pool 😂

Hi Lia! I did a solo trip to PR for my birthday 2 weeks ago and it was the bomb. I went to CASA Bacardi it was outstanding. Thanks for sharing.

Next time do food tour Flavors of San Juan. I booked it through Viator. The tour guide gives you historical tour and explanation but includes food and bar experience. We went closer to Christmas time it was great with Christmas decorations.

It was probably NCL Norwegian Cruise Line. That's the cruise line that I was on when I went to San Juan. It is the Southern Caribbean cruise...❤

Great vlog. All inclusive is not offered in PR because it is US Territory and they want visitors to patronize the local restaurants. All inclusive in other foreign countries is not just for safety it’s apart of the luxury and amenities offered. Most people venture off those hotels 99% of the time to enjoy local foods and site seeing. But the options are nice for those who are not able physically to venture out. PS I am a travel professional I have booked both kinds of trips. Love your channel ❤
