I have this watch in black and so pleased to see a review of it at last. I agree with much you say. However, I tried it with a stainless steel bracelet and it was too much steel in my opinion. I fit deployants to all my leather straps to protect them from the constant stressing introduced by buckles. The protruding 5 minute indexes on the bezel are a bit sharp and my bezel is fractionally out of alignment. That being said the watch has been a joy to own so far and I no longer have a Panerai itch that needs scratching! I am now a subscriber, cheers!

It's kinda new movement no service so far! But the latest batch on some San Martin and Proxima watches seem to have problems with winding etc. So I they pull out this bad batch from the market.

Brilliant video!! Thanks for the enthusiasm and entertainment! It's a very nice watch and I need a bronze colour watch. I was thinking about the Cronos bronze with green dial. I have a 7.9" wrist so it will fit. Only thing is I wear my watch vert low down on the wrist and I'm not sure how comfortable the big crown guard will be. On the plain back,,I wonder is the Panerai the same?

Thanks a lot my friend 🙏😁 you mean the Cronos Willard? It's a great watch I got the blue/teal version it's gorgeous 😍 the big crown you mean this Panerai Homage? Or do you mean the first cronos 62mas (big version) bronze? I think if you wear the lower the Willard Homage in bronze would fit much better with its crown @4 o clock 😉

Beware of San Martin! i bought the Datejust homage and received it with the dial completely misaligned, they refused to send me the free return ticket promised and wanted me to pay 45 euros to return it. Aliexpress didnt help either because according to them, the seller was communicating even though they didnt help. Very disappointed by the watch and this awful experience.

Hi Nicklas, I had a issue with the 41mm Sub and the return was easy if you know how to do it. Dan did a post about that. You need to open a dispute with free return and you get a label from Ali Express without any problems. 😉 Allways open a dispute that's the easiest way to get you're rights. Best regards

@@DieUhrenBox at first, the local post office misplaced the package, so i opened a dispute for that, when i received the package, aliexpress closed the dispute. I then tried to change the dispute to a defective product and return it for repair, but they never responded to the appeal for 6 weeks. When they finally did, they said the dispute time had passed and i couldnt ask for a return anymore. I was never given the chance to open a dispute for a return basically :/

@@nicklasprince that's bad mate! For the next time if the package is not at you're place allways open a dispute for money return. So you are allways safe to go...but a defective watch could also come from seiko or some other big brands. You should write over the sanmartin own website I heard the customer service there is much better then the one @ Ali express.

You can find it on Ali Express! It's just on a resellers shop and I think it was just for the reseller because San Martin is not selling it themself. 😉

Awesome watch, but you have to be a big boy to wear with dignity. Speaking of issues, Bronze watches and aluminium Insert is a bad combination specially if you pretend to use your watch for diving. Many reports can be read about that on the Tudor BB bronze that corrode badly the insert.... What has the brand done to solve the problem? Buy another insert...
