San Siro fue escenario de aquel 5-0 que nos metió el equipo de Sacchi (el de Van Basten, Rijkaard, Baresi, Ancelotti, que años después nos daría la 10ª Champions...) pero también fue el escenario de la 11ª Champions contra el Atlético... Tantos y tan buenos (y malos) recuerdos... que no pueden acabar siendo escombros. Hoy en día hasta los recuerdos y el romanticismo está en venta.

Conocí San Siro por primera vez con 16 años. Cuando vi la altura q tiene el estadio por fuera me quedé con la boca abierta y eso q ya había estado en el Bernabeu y Camp Nou pero la fachada de este impone. Ojalá no lo tiren. Es un icono de Italia!

Purtroppo ogni cosa ha una data di scadenza e purtroppo anche l'ottava meraviglia del mondo non esente da questo fato. Le ristrutturazioni infinite non risolveranno i problemi che a lungo andare si moltiplicheranno anche irreparabili, avendo un costo superiore ai ricavi che si porrebbero avere con l'investimento in nuove strutture che comunque non vanno ad intaccare quella che è stata la storia che nessuno potrà dimenticare
Milan council, AC Milan and Inter should all swallow their pride, sell the stadium to the two clubs and refurbish it. Knocking this down to create a smaller stadium makes no sense.
In reality, it makes too much sense. Italian Football attendances have dropped since the mid-2000s despite improvements in team performances. Juventus chose to move into a smaller stadium that they OBJECTIVELY owned for a good reason: So that they can refurbish and manage the establishment. Milan and Inter HAVE to go down that route as it's better in the long term to have a brand new stadium they objectively own AND don't require tip-toeing around The City Council of Milan. Furthermore, because of the rennovations and extensions which changed the architecture of San Siro beyond recognition as shown in this video, it's ineligible for preservation.
@@DR3ADER1 Yes, i get the ownership model. But for Milan council especially it makes no sense to play hard-ball, have two teams move, and then knock down the second most famous building in the city. Juventus always had problems with high attendances because their support is not in Turin itself, its the rest of Italy. Milan and Inter have city-centric fanbases who if they had a good team would sell out 70K-80K for big games as they have done for years previous. The San Siro is a position of strength for Milan and Inter. Juve never had that and will still be held back by the big European clubs because of their small stadium. Inter and Milan should not downsize and make the same mistake.
@@vinnyvasquez AC Milan and Inter Milan also have fanbases outside of the city. They're 1) part of the Big Three in Italy and 2) historically have had issues with refurbishment and maintenance costs in a ground that, as it stands, isn't theirs. Additonally, the state of Italian football prevents any domestic game to reach the numbers required to fill the seats of the current ground, regardless of performance (Inter Milan are the reigning champions of Serie A this season, so it's not an issue of the clubs underperforming). As it stands, Serie A clubs needs to downsize, not expand.
@@DR3ADER1 Of course Inter and Milan are popular outside Milan, but not in any way comparable to Juve. Any Italian football fan would know this. And I am not saying the ownership of the San Siro needs to stay the same, I am saying the exact opposite. To change it to make it work and take advantage of one of the most famous football stadiums in Europe. For any big club to 'downsize' as you would say would be commercial suicide. Although the population of Italy has flatlined, you make it sound like nobody likes football in Italy any more. Crazy. Build a competitive, financially secure league and the fans will flock to it. Build and move to small stadiums and your league will not grow, it will 'downsize' as you say to the status of other European leagues where they have 40K stadiums only. Juve did that precisely as i have said because in Turin they have small support. Some argue even Torino have more fans in Turin itself.
@@vinnyvasquez Long-term, downsizing is more economically sensible than overexpenditure. The current San Siro is oversized, dilapidated and too heavily modified to warrant preservation. It's time to move forward. Just like England did with Wembley.
Va buttato giù perché è come tenere una macchina vecchia e anziché rottamarla continuiamo a spenderci soldi in revisioni, sapendo che è da buttare. Io lo so che c'è storia e tradizione ma la vita va avanti e non si può vivere nel passato: buttare giù San Siro, Milan e Inter costruiscono un impianto dove vogliono loro e, una volta ripulita la zona, si possono costruire tranquillamente delle case e dei centri commerciali!!!
E' proprio per colpa della copertura che l'erba fa schifo. Spesso è un campo di patate proprio perchè la copertura non fa filtrare l'aria. Fino al 1990, il campo era perfetto. Poi, spesso, è un disastro. Anche perchè ci si gioca 3 volte a settimana
@@massimo6175 E come la facevi? Resta il fatto che comunque se non fosse stato per il mondiale probabilmente sarebbe rimasto ancora così. Il terzo anello è stato studiato anche per il settore ospiti, che negli anni '80 non c'era il giusto spazio tra i tifosi.

Era già previsto di non costruirlo perché li dietro vi è l'ippodromo e non c'era abbastanza spazio per le costruzioni delle torri che avrebbero sostenuto il terzo anello.
Ecco la rovina di uno stadio che era caldo & fantastico con 2aneelli ed un'acustica perfetta rovinata da un 3° anello inutile & malfatto : un'operazione complicata che ha decisamente tolto a San Siro quel calore e la sua natlebellezzza con i 2anelli; peccato io lo amavo così con 2anelli . Credo che se ai tempi si costruiva una copertura "CABRIIOLET COME NELLO STADIO DELL'AJAX con COPERTURA APRIBILE E RICHIUDIBILE è MESSI MONTACARICI PER PORTARE GLI SPETTATORI AL 1 e 2 anello , è ora lo stadio sarebbe solo da ritoccare e migliorare,ma il 3anello messo in un modo senza sicurezza ha creato uno stadio esageratamente ALTO sui 70metri che è di un'imponenza impressionante che mai ho visto pur girando almeno 60stadi in vita mia ,ma mai uno come il G. MEAZZA . A mio avviso questa opera d'arte era adatta a 2anelli,oppure il 3° andava messo sopra così com'è messo il 2° anello del Bernabeu di Madrid o il 3° anello del NOU CAMP DI BARCELLONA ,ma con l'ippodromo non avevano lo spazio e hanno voluto rovinarlo piuttosto che avere un impianto da 70.000posti a sedere invece che 86.700com'era nel 1990..anche se guardando bene stando in piedi o leggermente più stretti pure 100.000posti avrebbe potuto avere San Siro con 3 anelli ...visto con 2anelli & senza seggiolini stavamo in 85000posti e anche più ricordo ,e che calore era senza il 3°anello,era uno stadio compatto con un'acustica perfetta rovinata dal 3° anello ! ED ora è pure pericoloso nelle curve del 3° anello,tanto che balla e non poco ,è hanno chiuso 7settori . Complimenti per avere rovinato uno stadio unico dove ovunque vai vedi la partita bene...è chiedo a cosa diavolo è servito quel 3anello ?
Stando in piedi o più stretti? Oggi sarebbe FUORILEGGE, Heysel e Hillsborough docet.....andrebbe ABBATTUTO e ricostruito nell'ex ippodromo del trotto, 60 mila posti tutti a sedere e coperti

Vi lamentate voi... nel 90 a noi è toccato peggio con il restyling del san paolo (ora maradona)... hanno rovinato uno stadio con quella copertura orrenda e il terzo anello oggi inagibile...
@@NandoMormile Vero, anche la capienza è diminuita al Maradona . L'unica cosa molto bella del Maradona è il nuovo settore ospiti che non è più una gabbia dove vedere una partita era impossibile,inoltre i seggiolini con quei colori ci stanno bene,per il resto aver portato la capienza da oltre 70.000posti a 58.000con un 3° anello chiuso ed obsoleto che dovevano perlomeno togliere è stata l'ennesima cazzata all'italiana. Hai perfettamente ragione in Italia siamo indietro di 20anni da qualsiasi altra nazione come stadi e lho visto in Inghilterra o Spagna dove qualsiasi stadio è un salotto rispetto ai ns stadi.
