Regularly hailed by reviewers as the Philippines undisputed pop diva, Kuh Ledesma's (born, Ma. Socorro Ledesma) 25-year music career has 300 concerts, numerous awards in the Philippine music scene, and 18 albums in the local recording industry. She was the first Filipino to be the recipient of the Salem Music Awards in March 1989. She released an international debut album entitled Precious, a collaboration of the best American and Filipino songwriters, arrangers and musicians.

Ms. Kuh, you give life to words with your voice and your choice of songs to sing. This particular one means so much to me. It reminds me of my son. He committed suicide.

My thoughts for this?? Ito yung original eh.. Nothing beats the original pero I salute the ARRANGER!! Si sir Homer Flores din ang nagarrange ng kay Angeline pero mas gusto ko yung arrangement niya sa bago lakas maka film score. I'm thinking tuloy na what if si Kuh kumanta sa NEW ARRANGEMENT ni sir Homer para fair dba? :) -PEACE- tayo :)

I've been so used to hearing Kuh's version of this song since the 80s. Then, I heard Quinto's version. I told myself, 'Not bad. There's power in the voice.' Pero pag kinumpara mo ulit kay Kuh, you will notice that there's 'more soul' in the original. Ang daming nabiyayaan ng magagaling ang boses sa henerasyong ito pero aminin natin, iilan lang ang nakakasapit dun sa level na 'tila sila ang nagsasalita' sa awitin at hindi lang basta kinakanta ang piyesa.
