I think senior idols can get away with being flirty, especially when they've always been like that, like Sana. Their fan bases will be a little older (more mature) and it can be fun to see them fluster (or be flustered by) other celebs. It hasn't always been the case where rabid, unreasonable fanbases get all worked about "their" idols even just doing collabs with other-sex idols. This happened a lot more in 2nd and earlier 3rd gen. Lmao this is two months later but it seems like many didn't respond to your questions during the videos so I'll try to clear some things up. Dex is known to be very flirtatious, as is Sana who literally has kpop idols especially female ones shook because of flirty she is. His ideal type IS Sana, but due to his tv personality he's expected to be suave with the ladies hence the "so should I change my ideal type?" comment since he's had a running bit with Eunbi despite them being good friends. Aside from having a massive crush on Sana, he's first a fanboy which he stresses a lot during the interview. He runs these interviews with different female idols and is always seen as the ladies man but he respects Sana too much as a fan that he admits he does not want to cross that line with her.
