AHI is Aamna Haider Isani and will bring to you the life, style and soul of my life.
The word AHI may be the acronym of my name, but it independently stands for a species of Hawaiian Tuna. Ahi is an apt name for me. As a Piscean, fish is my symbol and water my element.
But this channel isn't about astronomy. l'll be tapping into my 20-year career as a fashion journalist to cover fashion as a source of self-expression and body positivity. We'll have a little bit of fun in shows like Fashion Fortnightly. I'll be connecting with fashionable creatures in Meet the Muse and reviewing fun, new products in the short FIR - First Impression Review. Aamna 101 will take you into my life while The AHI Icon will bring you an exceptional person, whose story inspires.

Sanam has such a strong screen presence. She totally brightens up the screen. Miss her so badly in the dramas but unfortunately, current dramas won't do justice to her talent. She is beyond such trashy scripts. Looking forward to see her in Umr-o-Ayyar.

Sanam Saeed is a marvel. She is mostly known for her work in Zindagi Gulzar Hai and Daam but for me, her more meaningful projects were Aakhri Station and the unforgettable Talkhian. The value, the substance she brought to the screen has still not received the due appreciation. Also I'd say the grandeur of her potential has not been tapped yet. She deserves projects that utilize her flair in a more fulfilling manner. Today's actresses can't never reach the intellectual level of actresses like Sanam Saeed, Aamina Sheikh, Nadia Jamil and Sania Saeed......not even Yumna and Sajal (they're exceptional actresses but I don't get that intrigued by their offscreen persona like I am by the aforementioned actresses). Haven't listened to the entire interview but whatever I have listened to is so refreshing, so valuable, so profound. Thank you Aamna for this interview. Now I request you to conduct an interview of Aamina Sheikh. She is also one of those extremely underrated gems whose beauty of perspective is still unknown to the masses.

The conversation has beautifully touched upon a lot of our social and individual existence. The subcontinent's people dismiss all things mental health as either superficial or fiction but conversations like these will help us chip away at those set-in-stone taboos and stigmas. Thank you! Amna and Sanam, you are such wonderful minds.

Wonderful conversation. Thank you for inviting Sanam and having a much needed discussion on mental health. It’s very disheartening to see many people who have access to information and seem on the surface to be worldly, be so closed off to therapy and to any form of help that doesn’t conform to their religious or culturally acceptable beliefs. It’s taken me many years to openly speak about my mental health needs and I’m still facing judgement from family and friends - apparently I just don’t have enough faith in the power of prayer which is why I seek support from other people. Thank you for all the wonderful work you do with the British Asian Trust Sanam and thank you Amna for giving Sanam another platform to speak about mental health. x

She is a power house! Amna thank you so much for the insightful discussion, we really need these type of talks more often as women needs to understand their voice, place and rights in a mature way and I totally agree with Sanam that a sensible women up bring a good men. You have to see from start that where your son is going wrong, are you giving him so much importance or letting him get away with attitudes. Tantrums and etc which will be wrong for the society earlier and same goes for the daughters that let her know how to be in society she is not the damsel in distress she can hamdle every situation and stand by herself only than these individuals makes a better society. Lots of love for you and Sanam❤

Thank you so much Aamna for this fabulous interview which will shine light on so many peoples darkest corners in their hearts and worlds. Love Sanam Saeed. She is an amazing actor and a wonderful human being and her being involved in this cause makes her an extra special person for me. I have been going through mental issues problems with my son which came up suddenly and made us realize that he had been born with asperger’s and adhd and anxiety issues which he had hidden under a well developed facade and had gone unnoticed. Him starting university brought everything to light and unfortunately covid added depression to the list. I as a mother with Bangladeshi origin living in Canada decided to go all out about it so that he doesn’t feel ashamed about it. I think we should share our experiences with anyone we see showing signs of going through same things we do so that many unhappy events like your uncle’s can be avoided. My love and doa for you and Sanam as well as anyone trying to do anything to bring healing to this world in anyway and also for those who are struggling with such issues everyday. Please come out and talk to help yourself unload your burden as well as help others take care of theirs ❤

This is a powerful and essential discussion. I'm one of those people who rarely interact in RU-vid comments, and this might be one of my first. However, I felt compelled to say that this topic needs regular attention due to the widespread lack of awareness about mental health, especially amongst men. Women tend to be more open to seeking medical attention compared to men, who often feel that seeking help shows weakness. It would be beneficial if you could invite men to talk about mental health and its importance, so that other men can relate more. Thank you for this wonderful video, Amina!
