I used to sing this song to my wife and after she past away I found a receipt with her signature, I took that receipt in to a tattoo parlor and got the signature placed over my heart, rip Travis and happy birthday to the new you, I thank you for this song.
I was 15 and remember how sexy and smooth his style was. I miss so many things about the 80s-90s but thankfully younger generations can still see and hear all the wonders of that time. Turned 50 this past July and this music is my go to when I need a little pick me up.
I've still got this on vinyl. It's the only album I ever owned remotely like it. I was still into rock and punk at the time. A great album is still a great album, no matter what the genre. I've just listened to this again for the first time in 35 years, brought here after reading an interview with Martyn Ware. Still fabulous.
GREAT LOUNGE MOOD SONG , AT ANY PLACE , BAR OR AT HOME ,,, IT MAKES A GREAT SPECIAL MOOD ATMOSPHERE TO SIT DOWN , RELAX , LISTENING THE SONGS OF TERENCE TRENT D’ARBY HAVING A CONVERSATION AND ENJOYING A NICE DRINK 🥤 .. 👍😁
This song reminds me when I was young and never knew the world Now I here this legend from my young days I smile and tears roll of my cheek, but I still smile. Thank you Terrence x
@@successsuccess441 it’s the ladies eye in the very beginning of the video she’s looking through the key hole! 😉💃🏻 the lady that’s in this video not the singer 😊
Exquisite work of Art! In the times when so many try to be exquisite... but they just can't. I'm a 3d sculptor. I sculpt Angels and Beauty, to my own understanding of it. While thousands of modern "3d sculptors" sculpt zombies and orcs, repelling and ugly works, if you ask me. I don't know what's wrong with the World, but I still am standing on the side of Beauty and Love
Smooth and cool."Sign your name across my heart" what a line!!!!! Can't understand why all the search results of this have such few views?? WHAT IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE!!!
He walked into Tower Records Sunset in '98 to the Info table, and I knew it was him, but my co-worker was clueless, so I tried to make some light conversation, and he wanted a certain CD, and I said "Are U Terence Rent D"Arby", and I was so enraptured...I just drooled, and my friend Amy was about when Is Morrisey coming in??! Bitch!
