Met and stayed in same hotel as Sanchez in Black River.a few years ago and beenie man and other artist. Sanchez was so nice. Chilled and chatty and blazed the show the next night. He is blessed and a blessed person have nuff dark shadow a try keep him down. When he came to UK in Northampton he mash up the place. Lovely guy.

SANCHEZ is telling the truth. In 2010 he released what is probably his BEST album. All original songs with the exception of ONE CLASSIC REGGAE cover. Unfortunately the lack of support from Radio and Selectors, resulted in the album not getting the deserved exposure. And this is with having it produced by PENTHOUSE (Donovan Germain) and released on VP Records. Sad is an understatement. At least it's good to see him get to show JAMAICA that his talent. Sanchez the first reggae artist i was introduced to in the earlier 90's tune call never dis di man. Ever since I was a fan, I witness Sanchez live only one time in Atlanta GA USA he sings all classic tunes and everyone really enjoyed his stage performance. He's a legend he looks the same like he can't age. It's interesting to find that still some big name artist don't want to step up after Sanchez. I thought the performers were all about the mission to spread good music and teachings through the music. Sanchez is one of the many original artists who's known for his swag and tasteful and fitted suits when he's on stage. Sanchez is an international star. Yes he should make his own show and tour that way he can have all the time he needs. Trust the crowd will be there to fill up the place. Nice interview
Sanchez D prob one of the best Reggae vocalists still alive today. Yes some could argue he hasn't done a lot of his own original tracks but that still doesn't take away what an amazing voice he has. The one thing you can say about Sanchez is he hasn't sold out he hasn't had to jump on any American rap artist or r&b artist tracks to get him record sales. Still number 1 in the reggae business long may his voice be strong.

As a dj, I grew up on Sanchez and his music was heard in most households on Sunday mornings, along with calypso. I think the problem is the times have changed and people are into hardcore now. Even on the radios, you hardly hear calypso, just groovy soca, power soca, and dancehall. You hear less lovers rock and reggae. I think Sanchez should get more time because there are people who support him, more than they think!!

Second to none by far. This is the best singer every draw a note in Jamaicas history. Now that's a bold statement I know. But its been proven over the decades. Everywhere he preform he smash it and he has been doing it from day 1. There are a lot of singers his jamaican history but performance and voice this man leads the way. I have seem him about 10 times live and ppl his show ever sold out. Beres is a jamaican icon ,one of the best song writers in the world hands down but mb ott as good as this man voice wise. I remember the little badmind one name pinchers. Ppl use to ask who was better. It's quite clear now to who was asking. Say pinchers name and ppl would say "who". Stay bless Mr Jackson.

It also speaks to the fact that there is only room for one type of music-hype music-that is appreciated today in our country, and that's problematic. Listening to Sanchez fr late 90s until now his voice is not the same, hes doing well but the sanchez back then was much more melodious, cristal clear ,in other words he was much better then ,there's another person who's voice is stand out up until today is "ghost"
Great voice. You say you believe in God and you are not a christian but God has a call on your life. He has given you a special voice and he has a platform for you. Sometimes when you see that happening then it is a call upon your life from God and He wants you to serve Him fulltime. He has an audience for you.
