As an animal control officer I had a very sad day when I went to a farm house that had 150 dogs in her barn and 340 cats living in her house.. I saw things I'll never forget . We helped her but it was hard for everyone involved . Lots of tears. Si I feel you
Karter really grew closer to her Uncle Lester during her brief stay, and it is sweet to have a child love us so very much. I agree with you about the rescues, and it is always best to keep in mind that it is sometimes so very easy to form a strong bond with those animals even though this wouldn't be giving them the best opportunity to live out their truly best lives.
My shelter took in 12 dogs from a hoarder. I adopted the oldest one and only had him 3 years before he passed from heart failure. I know I gave him a much better life than he had before RIP little Bert.
Karter has really changed. When she was littler she didn't want any affiliation with Uncle Lester. Now, she is maturing and she now knows her Uncle Lester is wonderful. Sweet.
My mother was wonderful, my father abandoned us. So, my mother’s dad, my Grandpa, her youngest brother my Uncle Harry, and my Great Aunt Vernie’s husband, Uncle Bill, were the “Dads” in my life. I loved them dearly for being that to me. I asked my Grandpa to my high school’s “Daddy-Daughter Dinner Dance” and he accepted. It meant a lot to me & him.
Think that was an eye opening situation that you experienced Lester, at that ladies home, and it's made you a better person for witnessing it. Hope the lady found the help she needed. Yourself and Jami are the best animal parents for your animal family, they are lucky to have you. ❤❤❤
I'm telling you I had really bad knees. I had both my knees replaced one then then the other 3 months later. It's a very easy surgery. You would be so happier being able to work more . And no more pain.❤❤❤
Lester I had 2 knee replacements because I had so much pain and could hardly walk without so much pain, it would make me cry. Best thing I EVER did‼️ I can walk now without pain in my knees 😊❤🎉
Great replay of your live. Love you guys! I can’t wait to see Storm’s foal❤oh, poor Karter😢breaks my heart to hear her 😭 she wanted to go with Uncle Wester😭😭😭🙏🇺🇸❤️🤍💙
I have rheumatoid arthritis and one time I took a six hour flight when I got off the plane I could barely make it through the airport because I could hardly walk. My legs were so locked up and painful, but I started Remicade infusions and that has helped tremendously.
Storm will definitely let you know when to tiptoe up to her baby to say hi. She's in the best of hands with you Jami and Lester. Sorry to hear about your knee Lester take it easy put your feet up when you can. Sending love to all.
The Mini's will get gentle in time. Things will also vhange when they are gelded. Lester. You even said on a video that donkeys are much trouble to take care of
Sweet Carter! Storm is wonderful, prayers for an easy birth. Hands on at the birthing, not excessive just a little help, and they both will allow you to touch when needed. Sending love to you and the babies
This live was so awesome from beginning to end . Thank you !!! Prayers for Storm and Jami n Lester and that beautiful baby that will be here soon.Love n respect ❤
I think it's completely understandable your take on the three donkeys. And I'm happy for Dinky Darryl. Remember the Newhart show with the brothers? Darryl, Darryl and Darryl???? 😄
I love the way that Karter is beginning to wants to be her uncle Lester it's so cute 🥰 Take her out on a little visit to get ice or shopping with Uncle Lester 😁 God bless you both 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I always wonder at the popularity of Flea Markets for a couple of reasons. Firstly how do you see the fleas, are they particularly large? How do you avoid stepping on them? How do you explain the attacks on fleas evictions and forced homelessness from their mobile four legged homes?? Do they speak English, when did you learn to speak flea.. just some Aussie humour guys, we call them Farmers Market over here.
I'm ANITA: Lester and Jami: I'm so excited to see Storm's Colt! I know it's scary and exciting and that's how I was with my dog when she had pups for the first time. I luv Little Gary! I'm So Happy that for now he's staying at J&L Ranch! Jami: I respect and Admire your love for your horses after what you've been through. That's a true inspiration to others that have the same luv for their horses. I know that you and Jami will always do what's best for the animals. I appreciate Every Video You Post! I understand if Tat has to move on if that's what's best. Luv From Tenn. God Bless Y'all and God Bless All the Animals
Lester, I have a bad knee. My dogs was running and bowled over me like a bowling ball and pin. It kept hurting and hurting. I had some surgery on it in 2015. Didn’t help the torn meniscus but he did clean it up. Since then I get Rooster Cone shots in my knee and it really helps. You need to see into it.
My name is Cat, I'm 67. I did not expect to wear myself out so fast! I had my right hip replaced last Thursday. No fun at all. Please keep me in your prayers. Love your videos!
How was it Cat cos my left hip is going to need replacing soon I’m 75 but thjnk I’m still 45 (in the head? I’m also disabled wer I’m on crutches 24/7 and have been for 12 yrs now after failed spinal surgery …I have 2 metal rods down either side of spine…
Find your friends with horses, you can ask all the questions you want. I've only saw where the mare is stabled. They wait an hour or so, then make sure foal gets up to nurse.
I can understand Jami wanting enclosed stalls, the big barns are great sun shade but not so good winter cover unless it’s straight down rain and don’t look to stay dry enough for laying down, saying that there’s been so much rain so not surprising
The beginning of this video lester sounds just like every uncle I have known, even my kids uncles 😂 🤣 but when you become a grandpa you will want to switch your view to Jamie's & actually go in the shops,in to get the ice cream & clothes ,just to see them pick their own items & the pure joy on their face when they choose something, it's amazing & you can practice with carter & cash now lol I was gonna say get a mobility scooter for when you need to go out after driving as you won't be aloud to rude your ebike in a mall but a mobility sco6you can,ma5you can get a sponsor for a pooped up one with all the bells & whistles lol 😆
Lester... I was sad cause she cried...😢 Im looking forward to you making it up to her. She will be so happy. To bad it was closed...😮 The lady loves animals.. but she really didnt save them.. 😢 I would of felt the same. I wish I could afford a rescue. I would buy 40 acres... fence it with tall solid fences... I would adopt dogs with special needs.. and seniors... they would be free to run! I'd have so many people to care for them!! Its a bucket list for me
My friend in Az. Had a big open barn like yours with open stalls, a floor and a wash rack grooming area. The only enclosed part was the built in tack room. It was great.
Storm looks like she'll have a small foal if it's this soon. Her belly is small. She doesn't look pregnant yet, even as a first mom. However, I can't wait to see her foal. ❤ 🎉
Follow her lead. Jami has the connection with Storm. Mine mare personality changed some being very protective. It may take a few weeks for the foal to trust also. My little guy is 2 months and starting to eat grains from my hand. He had is first little taste of apple today and loves them!! Take your time and follow Storm's lead. Be available since this is her first baby, she may need help.
This right. There are plenty of people and organizations that intend to good but don't have the resources. I think it is best to be sure you have those before taking on that much responsibility. Think of it like you are adopting a child. They need health care, affection, possible needed training. A lot of these animals come with issues due to their neglected or abused past. And it takes patience and time to help them recover. The three mini dronks are very different than others that had more hands on care. They may attack the other animals, continue to hurt each other or even those people caring for them. But also they also need more care than they had been getting. I don't think they need to remain together. So that will be 3 new homes.
Just enclose part half way down with wood at the one end towards the cow end. So air flows through. A bit like IMA Survivor Sanctuary property. You don’t have to do it all just a few stables and a tack room for Jami.
Hi to hello guys 🎉 I work full time....have bone on bone in my right knee...its taken me over 2 yrs to actually organise cortisone injection in 2 days. Sick of my knee locking....excruciating pain ...and sleepless nights...also dread the idea of having to use a walking frame... Dreading it but terrified too....😂😂😂😂
I still think Dinky Darrell has potential and qualities as a rescue. Since IMA Survivor started with donkeys and Ima jean will some day pass I think he is a great candidate to keep. He would also be a great companion for the other mini Glenwood.
I know you two always do what’s best for your babies. You two are amazing and I love y’all. I just had a thought when it comes to Gary and moving to ISS. With the way that place floods, would that really be a good idea? I mean I know y’all have the option of other properties but isn’t it super hard to move bulls? Just some questions I had pop in my head. Sorry I missed your live. ❤❤
Just have you Vet on speed dial and let her know she might get a call at midnight. Precaution for the birth so if you need to assist, she can tell you immediately what to do.❤❤❤
