Just heard this song on WGSs, (where God still speaks, Amityville NY) and I cannot believe how powerful it is and it only has 28k views onnRU-vid. Spoke to my heart. And hearing it on my local Calvary Chapel radio assures me of its’ theological relevance and truth.

As a sexual abuse survivor from my own dad back when I was 20 (I'm 31 now since March) and he's been in prison since Jan. of 2022 and with my parents divorced before that which was a good thing because of how toxic he was for 30 years of marriage; I can say this song of few that's resonated with me in my journey of healing is story of my life. I do feel like I've been redeemed in a way to come to know that my earthly father who abused me and also blamed me (literally) is not my real father especially the day he was arrested and in jail and called my mom who was then 2 months divorced (back in July of 2019) and said, "I wish Nichole had kept her mouth shut." That hurt like none other, and yet, to my surprise, it didn't phase me because I knew at that point that my real Father is my Heavenly Father and only Him. I was His before I came to earth and this song I just heard not long ago so a little late to this one, but it touched me so much and I love now that I can proudly say I'm smiling at this point, I feel much freedom from what happened, I'm a conqueror and warrior and survivor, and even though I never had counseling or therapy or anything, and it may seem I healed on my own, I can say and testify I was never alone. The best counselor and therapist and support for me personally during my ten year journey of healing was both my Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ. Without Them and Their help, I wouldn't be here But I had to choose what path to follow and because I chose God and His Son, I can now look back and see how far I've come, all God has done for me, and how He's truly helped me in a million ways and have found peace, hope, joy, and happiness again all because I know who I am and Whose I am and that God loves me and has been by my side a million ways.
