SAND MAN: Barber's Walk-Behind Beach Cleaner 

I’m on holiday in Sicily, that’s how I ended up here. Beautiful beaches, dirty sand. Makes me want to clean up the beaches and enjoy them fully.

That's just fantastic. A credit to the designers who came up with it. How horrible a beach becomes when used by large numbers of people. Humans are terrible.

When I was in military boarding school on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, in the early/ mid 1960s, there was a large version of this machine used to clean the beaches between Biloxi and Gulfport. I can't recall if it was self propelled or if it was towed behind another machine. The Mississippi beaches aren't that great to begin with, so having clean sand was a huge plus! The machine shown here looks like it will work just fine, but is entirely too small for any real beach.

A better designed trash emptying because when tipping into a bucket some doesn't make the bucket. That said great product. Does it come in an industrial size for beaches bigger than my back yard

The city of Vancouver, BC, Canada needs a few of these in action. Our beaches are a disgrace. Cigarettes are banned yet the beaches are strewn with butts. Nice machine, looks as if its a sweet deal!

You need a wide funnel for when you tip the pickings instead of putting it back on the beach.

One of these should be in every coastal city and there should be a dude that operates it every morning from Sunrise until noon beaches would be cleaned in 6 months by one person in each City little things like this would be a great boom in economics

Highly useful machine. Unfortunately the list of places/beaches/countries where such “assistant” is needed is very-very long..

Sad that these are needed, but it's a cool machine and design. However, for the empty cycle, you guys should attach a flip open door on the end that pulls out and add a locking latch to it. That way all of it goes into the bucket.
