@@AngusStuartCamenzuli except that the old shark hunter guy is clearly Quint, and even the setup and few lines are the same when he is talking about how he will catch the shark in front of the town major :D

@@thesagaofahun1592 As an avid shark film connoisseur I do see the resemblance and understand where you are coming from. Despite the almost identical scenes, pacing and dialogue the movie is a completely original idea. Did Jaws have a new shark species that can swim in the sand? No, because whoever was behind the writing is a complete genius. This film was well before its time. I don't wish to debate over jaws and sand sharks any longer. Good day sir and I wish you luck in all future viewing experiences. P.S the Meg sucked.
