This is great material and very nicely put together. You two are adorable but knowledgeable and have minds open to possibilities. The grapeshot looks to me like a corroded bearing from a tractor's 3 point hitch but I could be wrong. Please keep going with this lovely, gentle and informative work. And your singing background is Heavenly.❤ I would like to see you go to the shore with a screen pan or colander, and by dipping it under the water you could remove sand and dirt. You guys deserve to find lots more gold there!!! Seeing you guys out there in the chilly weather and NOBODY else on the beach! You used your brains and spent a wonderful afternoon literally finding buried treasure!!! Please do more of these!!! I would go over that heap with a fine toothed comb. Because if there is one piece of gold there there is likely to be more somewhere in the pile. so bring a hammer and break that stuff apart! Who knows maybe you will strike it rich!

In the American South (South Carolina) we refer to those sideburns as "porkchops" and very rarely as "muttenchops" ...men who were wear such sideburns are often nicknamed "Porkchop". My father had a baseball friend called "Porkchop" back in the seventies...so you're correct using both terms... :0)

Those copper and brass nuggets are produced by slowly pouring molten metal into water. This is done during casting in order to produce small grains of metal which enables the correct quantity to be weighed out to be used in a crucible.

Dear Northern Mudlarking Ladies. 👍👌👏 Oh WOW, what simply fantastic finds. Although I also love patinated things, somehow all humans seems to like shiny things the most. I absolutely love your nugget collection, especially the one in the little leather bag/sack. Some Nordic gold in there too. Please kindly allow me to ask: I wonder why you don't fabricate jewellery with respectively out of the nuggets. For instance bracelets and pendants. By the way: Your big collection of coins, worn down in this wonderful kind of way, made me wonder why you don't use those to craft jewelry too (necklaces, bracelets and earrings for instance). Try putting a peice of paper over the charm an rub a pencil or charcoal pencil over the paper an you might be able to read what it says. Very cool video lots of good finds

Great finds, Here is what I heard growing up, about shiney stones and rock.. The mineral pyrite, or iron pyrite, also known as fool's gold, is an iron sulfide with the chemical formula FeS₂. Pyrite is the most abundant sulfide mineral. Pyrite's metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname of fool's gold. Oh wow, what an amazing collection of things you found. Bags of coins, bags of nuggets, metals, etc. And on this hunt you found gold and silver. Incredible. That one area with the conglomeration is crazy. Imagine what's in there? Do you know how much the silver and gold you found is worth just for fun. Interesting Geology at that site.The conglomerate rocks are probably very old.At least their constituents would be.The.remainder of ancient corroded cliffs, cemented together.😊

49:14- Please experiment by shining light on the pendent from different angles and filming it from different angles. I can almost make out letters, but the light and camera angles need to be different. Also what you think might be grape shot could be what is left of a milling ball from the mines, used to crush ore of chemicals.
