Thank you for the tips. Have to say two things though. We’re there now. Butch’s Chop House changed their dress code to resort evening attire. That was disappointing because we wanted to go there for our 20th anniversary but my husband didn’t bring pants. We had a great dinner at Neptunes instead. Also, they do not serve fresh squeezed orange juice at Cucina Romana, it’s from the store. That was also disappointing. Another disappointing thing was Spices was closed on Tuesday and Thursday nights and Neptunes was also closed Thursday night. We had to wait 35 minutes to get seated at Cucina Romana because many people were waiting due to the two closures. Other than these issues we had a marvelous time and the places we did eat at were fantastic.
Yes, all the restaurant hours and requirements are subject to change, so I advise clients to check the app and to always bring one pair of pants no matter what. Glad you had a good time otherwise!
I’ve heard the hash browns are to die for. Is this true and why? I’m thinking it’s just fried potatoes 😂. Love the food review. We are heading here in 2025. Looking forward to it.
And I'm sorry let me clarify to make it not sound arrogant, we pay for Butler elite for that service you should not expect to get that service when you're not paying nearest as much as we are.
Butler service sounds like how people at theme parks have quick queue at cut the line. You said you shouldn’t need to pay extra premium to visit all the restaurants you want in a short amount of time. But that’s exactly what you have to do at a theme park to ride all the rides that are “included in your ticket price”. So why wouldn’t the same logic apply? I was going to try luxury level, but this reasoning justifies me to just stick with butler level. It seems like the classic idiom you get what you pay for?
Hi! The same logic might apply, however, that doesn't necessarily mean we agree with it. While there might be some value in a product like Disney Genie+, it's still paying extra for something that should be fundamentally included - your ability to ride attractions. Essentially, a positive guest experience at a theme park or a resort shouldn't be something you have to pay extra for.
@@ACoupleTravelers ironic that you mentioned Disney genie + because at first I didn’t want to pay for it, because I do remember the times of free fast pass. But, then I also remembered how when it was free, I didn’t always get what I wanted. I’ve actually paid for genie + and individual lightening lane just to avoid waiting in a lot of lines as a family of 5 (one kid was an infant). Then I realized, you can always make more money, but you can’t make more time. And I didn’t want to let a few dollars upset the vibe of my trip. I didn’t get the impression that this ruined your trip, but if it did, then adopt the YOLO motto and never do luxury level again. Thank you for your review, I loved your video, so it just confirmed to me that I need to always go butler level because I don’t like to be upset on vacation!! We’re already booked for this resort this month and now I know what restaurants to make sure my butler books first 😉
That is a very new rule, was not available when I made this video (also you can make “some” reservations so likely you still need to make some upon arrival)
Nearly every restaurant had that, but be sure to look at the menus online and on the app beforehand. If you don’t see anything, talk to your server, they could ask the chef!
So to pay the extra money it's $4 a day for a year so please don't complain when we plan better and you don't. And as far as the little Disney comment don't complain about that unless you're ready to pay for it. These companies are about making money and I guarantee you all of you are about making your money as well you'll leave a company in a heartbeat if you're going to make more money so don't demify them for giving benefits to people that pay more money.

We share this so others going to the resort can get the most out of their vacation, even those who don’t have the privilege or means to stay butler level.
Wahhh wahhh we pay 100 bucks per person minimum per night for Butler elite, yes we deserve to get reservations above you, if you don't like it get Butler elite or stay at a Holiday inn the breakfast buffet is free and no reservations.
