You guys are awesome! I really appreciate all your videos, they're very informative and entertaining. Have ya'll been to Sandals Antigua? If so, did you like Grenada better?

Hi! Thanks for the comment. Nope we haven't been to Antigua yet. Going to Antigua Spring 2022. I only heard good things about Antigua, it is alot of peoples favorite. Its older though, it opened in 1992 but had some upgrades in 2017. Neal was really interested in Visiting Barbados over Antigua because Barbados is the newest resort. However, with all that is going on with COVID Barbados was the strictest in terms of testing & quarantining. Back in May 2021 they wanted you to quarantine in your room for a week. Let me tell you nobody is trying to spend thousands of dollars on vacation and not be allowed to leave your room the whole time. When we went in May 2021 we met several several guest that transferred from Barbados to Grenada because of that.

@@whereyouat7247 Hi. I am from Barbados. 5-7 days is for unvaccinated travelers. If you are vaccinated, it is usually 24-48hours. However, you usually are out within 24 hours or less. Thanks for this video. I'm not the biggest regional traveler but I definitely enjoyed this video!

@@whereyouat7247 there’s been a further development. Fully vaccinated travelers have no quarantine at all. You’re free to go once you present all of your information upon landing.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Can you share the minor issue y’all had with the Rondoval? My Fiancé and I usually stay at AMR resorts so we’re looking to switch it up for our honeymoon. Thanks!

I think the Rondoval had been vacant for a while due to the pandemic. There were a bunch of flying ants so they moved us early. We had planned a split reservation anyway. 3 nights Rondoval 4 nights sky suite.

1. South Coast Jamiaca (cons: 2 hour ride from airport, but resort is beautiful & sprawling) 2. Grande St Lucia 3. Grenada

You were there in June and the plunge pool was cold? How was the regular pools?

The plunge pool is not heated and it’s several stories up in the air. We enjoyed playing in the plunge pool door the beat of the day but yes the water was cold…and we were there last week of May first week of June 2020.

Yeah our plunge pool in St. Lucia was cold in January, I was hoping summer being warmer would bring the temp up.

The cheesecake is not a special desert creemcheese, sugar, cornstarch, maybe some cream, if it sits out on the table for half an hour it's dead. In my cheesecake I use half a cup of amaretto, or sambucca to really make it great, inotice yours look soft, mine had to be firm and cold to enjoy, I had beautifully desserts in barbados, turks & Caicos in which they had little French pastry shops.

We had a vacation planned for the middle of August to go to Sandals in Grenada but canceled it. We were told that you have to stay in your room for two days which we did not want to do. From watching your video it sure did not look like you had to stay in your room for two days. If that is the case then I am very upset we were given false information and cancelled needlessly. Can you tell me what the policy is since you were there. Thanks Ed & Dawn

when you arrive to the resort they give you a rapid covid test within 20 mins of your arrival. you do have to wait in your room until the test results in an hour or less. once your test is negative you are free to move about the resort. i made a video about it here. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MNdIu8nWv6A.html hope this helps...also sorry it sounds like you were given incorrect information. At the time in May 2021 guest were expected to quarantine in there room at Sandals Barbados but NOT in GRENADA. there were actually several couples we met whom transferred from Barbados to Grenada because of that.
