Wow! I honeymooned there at this resort in 1996. Tokyo Joe’s is still there which we loved. I did not see the swim up bar. The new upgrades is beautiful and more places to sit back and relax

Wow, awesome - you got to see it in its first couple of years - so much changes every year and particularly, in the last decade. Is sandals Montego Bay safe? Crime and Covid. We are going in March, figured I’d ask after I booked...

Hi John, Sandals Montego Bay is located along a very premium position of the island and I’ve never had any client have a safety concern. The resort has also went to great lengths for COVID safety and all guests and staff have testing. What is the difference between a swim up suite and a walk out??? :-(

Great question! In this case, the only unifying thing between the two is the fact that they are both on the ground floor. A swim-up refers to the fact that in lieu of a balcony, you can exit your suite directly into the water.
