If i see a lobby full Dwights, or Fengs or Bill, etc while I'm a Meg, i will always change into the same character bc i think it's cute to match with my teammates. Like it's funny and wholesome when we're all strangers who decided to match

Whenever im playing killer and somebody tries to sell their teammate, i end up focusing on that seller the entire match and just hit them on hook, almost disciplining them

Two ttvs were in my lobby the other day and they were teaming with a demo. I was running the demo for about 5-6 minutes when I finally went down. The ttvs then came up to me and pretended to unhook me a bunch of times and I ended up dying first stage because they were teaming. It’s very annoying, especially in solo queue when you’re just trying to have fun and play with randoms.

It's always funny to see people like this get karma. It's just satisfying to see them go through the same thing they put to others- 10x funnier if they rage over it too XD

So back when I used to play I've had situations like that happen where survivors will try and befriend me and then go and sell out their teammates. There was a time on the Silent Hill match where there was a Dwight and I forgot the other survivor. But I had two of them left. The Dwight came up to me and pointed at a locker, telling me where the other survivor was hiding. So I played in to it. Went over to the locker and grabbed the other survivor. Now the Dwight was already injured and then he probably thought I was gonna let him finish off the gen he was working on. Instead what I did was I put the other survivor down, went to the Dwight, smacked him, and put him back on the hook and let the other survivor get the escape. At the end chat all I said was "You never sell out the homies." From then on any time I had a survivor turn against their team like that I'd play along with them until the opportune moment, and then sacrificed them and let whoever it was that they tried to sell out live. Again, *NEVER SELL OUT THE HOMIES!*

Damn Spook this reminds me of a TTV in my lobby who was absolutely fuming because I “kept running the killer to her”. Rewatching the whole vod, it was when I ran the Doc to main building on Ormond twice during the entirety of the match where she was doing a gen both times (which I did not know) You know, main building, right? Aka the best tile on that whole map. Yeah she was pissed I had the audacity to run the killer there lmao. She was absolutely tilted and also convinced I was working with the killer (I had never been hooked), even tho I took multiple protection hits for her and her friend throughout the match so they wouldn’t die. When I was on my first hook in endgame, her and her healthy friend t-bagged me then left, saying “screw that bitch” lol. I thought about sharing the vod with you but figured maybe she was just having a bad day and I’d feel bad if she ended up in a TikTok compilation 💀🤣

If I play survivor and jump into a random lobby with everyone playing Meg, Kate, etc… I’ll gladly swap to match them and then point at each other and nod/tea bag in succession once the match begins. It’s just foolish harmless fun. On the killer side, I actually had a 4 Leon team vs my Nemesis last night. We all had a blast. They ended hooked, yes, but the flash bangs were going off all over Midwitch… and that’s okay

Had a Kate troll the whole round, didn’t even try touching a gen. By the end it was just us and I’d been attempting to help her all game, but Sadako kept only finding me because Kate was hiding in a corner. I think she realized what was happening and left me alone to try and find her. When she couldn’t, she downed me and Kate snuck over to tea bag on me. Sadako saw and motioned for her to heal me and this Kate honest to god shook her head no like a child. Sadako picked me up, let me wiggle and downed Kate; asked me to the same and heal her. This Kate was so salty her troll failed that she wouldn’t even let me do that. Sadako picked her up, hooked her and hit her repeatedly while letting me go. Karma.💅🏻

I once had a friend I would play DBD with. He had this issue with people playing the killers he liked AND would yell at anyone who continued to play them. One time I had a friend who was excited to play the game, and when he finally got his hands on it this person tried to teach him and he would yell at him and call him stupid for missing skill checks. I don’t talk to the first guy anymore and the second friend refuses to even touch DBD and I don’t ever try to suggest it to him. I wish people would be kinder in this game. Love your content!

mr spooks, i recently got reported by a streamer on dbd, i was the random while he played alongside his buddies and i basically got reported by him for trolling and 'being weird' and a 'weak ass team mate' all because i refused to be their guinea pig for ✨exponential value✨

Ironically, his behavior in the RPD is specifically a bannable offense. “Working with the killer” word for word is in the report section.

Same character = trolling? Wth I did play with a troll the other day. He deliberately called the killer using a locker and dropped pallet because I ignored him while I was cleansing a hex totem-ruin! He faked unhooked me too until I got killed on hook. Then he pretends nothing happened in the end game chat when I called him on it.

Honestly, if i were one of the devs, i would host a viewing party every week and just read out all the reports and laugh.

As someone who plays almost exclusively killer, im inclined to agree that people who run 3-4 of the same survivors will be tryhards. I wont do anything other than come into the game slightly more serious

the only time i can rightfully say that a survivor is bringing a killer to someone is either 1. the survivor in chase has bond 2. the other survivor has something like better together or blastmine (yellow gen) i've accidentally 'brought the killer' to my team. i've also accidentally sandbagged. we all make mistakes, we're all human. mistakes aren't malicious.

I played with a ttv about 3 weeks ago and they were rude and straight lied on their stream. I took chase with the killer because I hadn't been hooked yet, I was running them around a loop like normal gamers do. Well she apparently was working on a gen and said, I led the killer to her. I was like oh I'm sorry. I didn't realized, I had did that. She was so rude. I get that you died but when she went down I was injured and nowhere near her. I had mistaken her for the other gamer that I had saved injured by myself and the meg just ran out and left them slugged, didnt even try to help. I got her up and we both got out. This really affected me all day and I felt so bad and like a crappy teammate. I went back and watched her video the next day and she was on a freaking chest and no gens were being worked on over there. How was I supposed to know you were on a chest? Make it make sense dude. She was rude because the killer spotted her on the chest as I was looping him. 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ That's not my fault. Wrong place at the wrong time. I was just saying ggs. I just left her stream. She wasn't getting a follow or a view from me. That was my first rude ttv streamer. Took me by surprise that someone with a platform like that would act and lie in that manor.

As much as we appreciate Spookz showing these clips and bringing his opinion on it, can we appreciate the sleepy doge in the background? We love spookz and love this doge. Spookz brings great content and we love it to bits and pieces.

Side note, once I was with a swf, and they told me to “join the feng gang”. Even tho I was like a level 2 feng, I did BC it was fun. It’s still my favorite survivor experience to this damn day

I’ve seen an increase of players like this. I had a duo who worked together with bond and distortion to sandbag me and this other random. No idea why. But it’s been happening more frequently...kinda sad as I just play for fun. I’ll happily wait in 30 minute queues for Killer instead of dealing with teammates like this :/

I remember a time I Solo queued dressed as Dogwalker Dwight, and then when I joined the match everyone else on my team changed to a near exact replica of my skin. And...we weren't trolling, In fact that was one of the most wholesome games I had in a long time, no one BMed, did anything toxic to each other or the killer, and just enjoyed the game. We didn't win, but still Gg'ed at the end and just wished everybody better luck next time. This guy is ass backwards, and doesn't know true love/fun when he sees it lol

I had a TTVer say they despised me...for the crime of not taking aggro off unhooks. When I had BT and it was better for the unhooked person to take that hit rather than me take the Devour instadown. And when I very explicitly took aggro off someone when I unhooked them and was rewarded by getting Devoured on my very first down. They also hated me for leading the killer to them as though that's not an inherent part of solo queue which I ended up laughing at because of the sheer vitriol they directed at me. At this point it's almost an automatic reaction to equip a mori when I go against them as killer

i think ppl who play with their friends on console often pick the same character, they can't type to each other easily and often aren't on voice. character choice, flashies and morse code by crouching is how they communicate. I'm on PC but it's something i noticed in my many hours playing

The closest thing I have experienced to this (in regards to totem claiming) is when I was cleansing all the totems I could find to avoid NOED, only for the last two players to stop helping and vault/ alert the killer to my every position for the rest of the game. Once I completed the last gen, I was found by the killer, hit with the NOED I was trying to prevent, and hooked. They didn't try to save, just opened the exit gates, and tea bagged me. In end game chat, I found out that they were red ranks and they said I deserved it because I was breaking all of "their" totems (apparently it was for their perk, "Inner Strength", but they hadn't said anything prior to let me know not to break them). That was probably the most infuriating experience I've had in the game years back.

I do not like gaming with TTV/TV/YT due to being stream and I prefer not to have any attention by the gaming media if I am notice for whatever someone likes to point out or speak of me without my acknowledgement.

I was streaming once and jokingly signaled for a Jake to follow me into shack before I dropped god pal between us and he came into my chat to ask "Are you always this toxic to your teammates?" Like it was just for laughs. The killer even thought it was hilarious.

I just say "Thanks (insert character here)" and start running. They could have let the totem go when they saw a bloody person running towards them and hid until they passed but they didn't. TTVs are always great. Had one where I popped in, said hey and good luck, then left until after match. Came back after 4k, told em “gg, you guys were fun to play with”. He gets pissed, bans me from stream claiming my name triggered him. Just a really weird take to have for someone supposedly wanting folks to watch.

Admittedly the other day I befriended a Huntress during my friends stream and sold my team out for the sake of my own survival (It was a lost game anyways) but then the Claudette turned the Huntress and me. The ONE TIME I didn't stream, shit was hilarious. Sometimes siding with the killer can be hilarious if you've already lost but being a blatant asshole from the start just is not funny.

As someone who does play with a swf and sometimes have Hex names and matching characters, I can get why killers get mad and think we want to troll. But once we get in match and the killer realizes we are a bunch of idiots playing a game to goof off and not troll, usually the mindset changes. Me and my swf understand that with some players seeing us do that automatically think we are a bully squad and should prepare for some killers to have it out for us. But for a teammate to punish for that? WTF is this entitlement.

As a player in DBD, it’s not always obvious where your teammates are without active auras.

Posted this on the dbd reddit a few years back but I legit had a killer message me on PS and call me a hacker because I was able to find all his totems and destroy them.... I was using Small Game. You know...the perk that makes a sound when you look at totems and traps. (Before it got changed to just totems.) I laughed for 20 minutes and couldn't stand up straight for awhile because my stomach hurt so bad from laughing that long. The TTV bitching about the totem reminded me of this. Absolutely ridiculous.

If someone sandbags another survivor when I'm playing killer, the sandbagger gets tunnelled out hard. I don't care if they're injured and on death hook and want someone else chased or they haven't been hooked and just want altruism points, i will deny them any chance of escaping or getting unhooks

I love when other people see me being YeeHaw Jake and then they also switch over to it... or, when I see a Jonathan Byers, I IMMEDIATELY have to switch over to Jonathan because its not a common skin. Sometimes it's just exciting to be a feather of the same bird.

They aren’t this extreme with it, but they get irritated with people for “bringing the killer to them” while they’re working on gens or whatever and I’m like, “How could they have known?” or “They’re injured and have actually been running the killer for a while so maybe you can take a hit.”

I think this person has the idea that they are against EVERYONE when they load into a game. "Credit for my totem finding?" Thats called being a good teammate.

According to a CS person I've talked to a few times from BHVR, they do actually read the in game reports. But it's a team of 4-5 people doing all their customer relations. They "can't get through thousands of reports for tunneling or camping per day". So yea, it's just overused and I feel bad for them. People will always say it doesnt work, but they seem to be trying to make it work at least.

I was playing endgame as surv, two of us left - I’m in struggle hook, the other is slugged across the map. I’m distracted with a phone call whilst playing, so I keep struggling on hook until I die. In the endgame chat, the other team mate is very upset with me for not purposely dying so they can use their adrenaline and try find hatch. I apologised and said I was talking to family on a phone call and they continued to cuss me out. At that rate I didn’t care if they died or not, just glad I got those measly struggle points at the end…mmm yummy blood points

Funny, how the TTV wants to report another surv accidentally bringing the killer to her (which isn't a bannable offense), but sees nothing wrong with actively and blatantly working together with the killer to the detriment of her team mates (which actually is a bannable offense).

The only real times I’ve come across a sandbagging pos teammate was when I was doing a 3 man SWF. We were on Macmillan (if that’s how it’s spelled.) and our 4th was a random Dwight. I was already having a particularly bad day. Imagine you’re just minding your own as a cute Bunny Feng with your two bros, doing gens, keeping out of sight and BAM! You notice that it’s the Doctor, and he’s fried the Dwight and the guy is now screaming constantly and missing his checks. But wait, the Dwight wants healed, but you know he’s just chasing your friends around screaming to get the killer to go after them. And then he sees you. In all your Bunny glory, and the medkit you’ve managed to save two games prior. And now he’s on you. Blocking you from walking forward because he wants you to waste your kit to heal him, and you, being stubborn and not going to waste it out of spite and pride. And then he starts running ahead of you, vaulting around you, slamming pallets and screaming and won’t leave you alone. So now you’ve got two killers in one match, and your friends get all 5 gens done while you’ve essentially run the whole game to stay alive. The doctor tried his best not to hit the Dwight but I eventually spun and slammed a pallet on the both of them. So the Dwight took the hit and got downed. My friends and I ran to the door, and as the Dwight is being carried off, I use the medkit and dip. I got some hella mad messages lol.

I find it hilarious that he thinks that Cheryl could've seen him. like- you're crouched behind a bush, doing a loud action. The only way I think they could've seen him at all if if they were running Bond, which didn't seem the case but idk.

I’m a survivor main and literally one of my most satisfying moments playing this game was an a**hole survivor trying to pull this on me (wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same person featured in this video). Michael Myers was the killer and I was the second person he hooked, and we still had four gens left so we didn’t get very far at all at this point. I got hooked and was close to second stage and this survivor comes up and pretends to unhook me several times and then sits and nods at me. For no reason lol, I hadn’t even seen this survivor until after I was hooked. Another survivor came and got me though then that same troll got hooked right after. I was 100% petty and I did the same thing back to them and started working on a gen and they reached second stage. After that, then they begin to follow me trying to make as much noise as they could. The killer downs me and they start to t-bag and the killer picks me up, while they’re still t-bagging. After that, they let me go and downed the troll and hooked them and they died lol. I love the killers who see that ridiculous, petty sh*t and don’t tolerate it. After that it was down to me and the guy who unhooked me and I eventually died trying to watch out for my teammate but it was worth it. I always go out of my way for teammates, but if they pull things like that, I will do nothing for them. Another time that happened, it was against a blight who had a few hex totems on the map. I really made it a point (and with my perks) to find them and get rid of them. It was down to two survivors, me and another person and I believe we had one gen left so I was trying to get rid of those so we could have a better chance of finishing and getting out. I also was doing this because for some reason, the killer didn’t seem focused on me. He could’ve downed me a few times but didn’t. This one totem, it was in a spot where I could be body blocked and that’s exactly what the survivor did. The body blocked me for over five minutes. They were nodding their head, shaking their head, pointing, etc. so I knew they were just trying to be a jerk. I have no idea if they thought I was working with the killer or just felt like being a d**k to me but eventually the blight found us and saw this, hit her, chased her, then downed her and hooked her. Then after that he lead me to a hatch and it was one of the most satisfying moments ever. Don’t play this game if you’re gonna act like a jerk. And don’t be surprised if people do the same back to you.

I play mostly solo as survivor and havent seen much this kind behavior.When you solo, you need to accept that match can be worst game in your life or having better teammates than your friends.
