I want to thank Savage gear I've been using sand eels for striped bass here in New Brunswick Canada for years now but on Wednesday we went to the Miramichi river and we couldn't keep the bass off our lines. We caught that many fish when I got up the next morning I had to rub my arms down with A535 that is truly a sign of a great day of fishing. We landed somewhere around 300 bass and brought home 15 between 5 of us. Thank you again Savage gear.
The original one was a "killer", didn't need any introductions. If you managed to make it more resistant but without making it more rigid or harder than then original one, then congratulations to you, hats off. To bem fair I cannot hide my dissatisfaction. Once again you make one of your best colors disappear. The old lemon back with the orange underneath was excellent and possibly the most used color on the Portuguese coast. Even though this new lemon back will definitely be effective, because this color always is, it will not be the same thing. The same has happened before with the dirty silver color, impossible to put your hands on that anymore.
That’s bloody brilliant that toothpick lock. I’m yer to ever use a tube of superglue more than once, as I get it everywhere, and it’s always clogged next time I wanna use it. Ingenious. Great work
Looking forward to adding a few of these to my arsenal Look as if they will be highly effective for striped bass here in New Jersey-especially if we have another strong presence of sand eels in the fall.
As and when the world gets back to normal, getting myself back to your fabulous country and back onto your awesome stripers with some of these new lures is top of my to do list!
Im gonna try the v2 12 cm in khaki color for seatrout here in Norway now with a teaserfly above it, this lure is a great sandeel imitation with a lot of action, much better then hardlures for sure.
those are some 8 or 9 year old Van Staal titanium pliers, hideously expensive but I did a swap for a reel many moons ago, they are as good as they were on day one
cant help but notice savage gear removed my comment on the lighter version and forward facing jig eye for spooky fish in shallows, hope you arent stealing my idea ( the patents pending) 😂😂😂😂
Everything but the tail and the hook looks a lot like a sandeel, but we need those two things to make a swimming action and the ability to catch a fish ;)
If its so good where is the fish lol atleast with all the pike lures u actually show us u catching fish with it. Not saying it won't work as I will still catch a bass with a flattened table spoon.
