For those of you who find that the armature puller you have, the bolts do not fit the threads, Fastenal sells the M5x0.8 bolts for about a buck. These fit the generic York style compressor clutches from Omni/Santech

Thanks for the video mate. Was very informative and I now understand how the clutch, pulley, coil is all put together. I have one question. On a 507 Sanden can the pulley be adjusted in or out or it's pressed fit into one location only by tapping it in till it seats? Cheers

Have a Sanden U-7903 part#15680077 and when I turn it on for the first couple seconds the clutch is squealing/chirping. I can see it engage but slipping before fully spinning. Looking at the air gap it seems wide perhaps right on the cusp of causing this issue. Can the gap be closed up? If so what are the min-max gap specs? System blows nice and cold. I've already checked belt tension and ruled that out. This is in a 1994 GM P-30 chassis motorhome (Southwind Storm) 454TBI w/4L80E

If I have this compressor out of the box and it wobbles. Is it fixable? How do I know if it is the shaft bent or just the pulley? Thanks

It would have been better to slow down a bit, you brushed over the fact about washers etc in fact didnt even mention them as they are important points to make. I prefer the vids by people showing the home mechanc how to do it who dont have the fancy tools and do just as good a job....just sayin!
