My son K Vishal(11) born in Rohini star (Birth star of Lord Krishna)is going to have his Upanayanam in Punarpoosam star (Birth star of Lord Rama) on June1st in Bhavani. Though i know many slogas, i do only Gayathri regularly and not properly learnt Sandhyavandanam (lack of inclination to learn it). I want my son must do sandyavandanam properly everyday, which assures various Mudras to retain Health, Pranayamam to keep BP in control and increasing longevity of one's life. I have listened to this many times, the actions in the video are good. I did find another simple video with Tamil translations..my ultimate aim is just to develop a simple prayer sequence that's all..for example: give me my daily bread,let the kingdom come,holy be thy name .... etc.
Very nice video but the process could be shortened . Upanayanam ceremony done by Art of Living , where sandhya vandana along with Agni Karya is taught , which can be done within 30 mins . Recommend for all . Jai Gurudev
Sir, this process will take around 15 minutes only. Moreover. With due respects to Sri Sri the sandhya taught by them is different. The method explained here is as per vedic process being done since ages.

Thanks for uploading it. I have a doubt. Between the Nyaasaha and the Gayatri Japa, there is the Dhyaanam portion ("muktaa vidruma hema neela ..... upasmahe"). But there seems to be no Dhyaanam portion in the video clip. Is there any particular reason? Could you please clarify?
Prayashchitartha argyam i think should be done only if one does prataha sandhya after sunrise as it is for belated oblation. Else one can skip this sankalpam
