Cadets and Midshipman from the U.S. Service Academies (USAFA, USCGA, USMA, and USNA) visit Sandia National Laboratories each summer to gain exposure to multi-disciplinary research. Research projects range from arctic research to synthetic aperture radar (SAR), to additive manufacturing and nuclear deterrence, and many areas in between. This video highlights experiences of Summer 2018 MAC students inside and outside the Labs, as well as offers an account from a Sandia mentor who’s hosted several students over the past years.
