The Sandia Peak Tramway is an aerial tramway in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It stretches from the northeast edge of the city to the crestline of the Sandia Mountains and is the longest aerial tram in the United States.

I visited in 1992 and rode the tram. The views are amazing.

Never broke and never will! The cables are constructed in Switzerland by specialists on aerial trams!

No comment about the long wait lines, TWA Canyon where a TWA aircraft crashed in the '50's off-route on its way to Santa Fe (I understand the wreckage is still visible). Let's just have the facts without all the hype.
