I have to share my amazement about how it looked exactly the way yours looked. Tasted good, do not know if it needs some perking. But on the whole this is what I wanted to make. Instead at Gita site she gave something that was so bad it tasted and looked bad. I am grateful!!! I love learning about Indian especially S. Indian cooking because it has very little fat.

Thanks again for sharing yet another blockbuster recipe. One quick question, can we steam the ambvaday rather than frying it? More healthier option. although steaming them might cause them to break apart easily.
