a good tip paul is to wrap them tightly in cling film after the bandage, so if they do defrost by the time you get back they all have their juices in tact and easily re-frozen. also helps keep them from sticking to each other in the flask. great videos as always, hope you have a good season mate.

Great video , I find sausage skin works great from local butchers then pricked while frozen to release scent.

Good video that! I had never heard of cart but, I have been using what they call gardeners fleece which is a thin papery fabric you're supposed to put over your plants when its cold, and wrapping old bits of bait in it. I have been putting it on the lead to act as chum. Haven't got any cart yet so I'm got to try it with old macrel meat.

Try sausage casings and you wont look back you can use them defrosted as easy as frozen cheaper too.

Great video. I was thinking that a small round head map pin (get at Staples and great for rig winders) through the eye of the hook into the cart may be a simpler solution than the copper to stop the hook turning. Just a thought.

Hi Paul, really love your videos. Do you ever take beginners out for sessions and if so, how much? Also do you prepare your cart like that when you are at your mark or before you leave?

Do you have any idea what the lads who sell it to shops use as a mould to form the perfect size sausage? Ive been freezing mine in 9inch square foil trays and then cutting into blocks and wrapping in tights when frozen but the baits are just too big so would love a decent mould. Also where did paul get that pipe with the flared end that he put the finger bandage on?

I have another method of stopping the cart spinning on the hook, I'll quite happily share it with you how do I send you some pictures?
