Hi greetings from Ireland. I just bought the 15LD2 to use on and old Penn Inxs Ground Cast rod I have and would love to see the video on how you added the mag to it?? Great video's by the way and Zziplex are a super rod... Just getting back into fishing myself and buying a small bit of gear. Keep the video's coming.. great info in them..
High Paul, I like this style of casting. I can’t get the hang of the pendulum. Can you advise a good bait clip, as when I’m resting lead on ground my rigs are coming in-clipped. Any advice? Cheers. Tom
2019 Penn finally came out with a shore edition of Fathom II that looks exactly like your modification. In fact I was a bit confused when you first started talking about doing the mag modification ....what's he going on about? Is it the flag he's talking about or a fine tuning of the magnet? then I checked the date of the video!
Aye they are becoming the new standard now these power swivels and rightly so - next level kit Cheers sandman for the video and ta for putting it up on NESA. Would love to know your thoughts / get a review on fixed spools for our costline, maybe combined with a continental rod.
You make that casting look simple mate lol ! Would you recommend still getting the 15ld2 or one of the new pre magged versions? Suppose the two speed is a big advantage as you say
For me it was always the HST or if you fancy a little more backbone the HST evo is an awesome rod. However there are in my opinion a few allrounders if you like in the Zziplex range. And I'm not talking about cliff fishing here mate or kelp grounds.....HST, HST evo, M4, M4 evo, Profile evo, just to mention a few.... Hope this info helps buddy tight lines
Aye if you want to lose gear every cast. I've tried it a couple of times and blanked so gave it up as a bad job, the piers a better bet even at the bottom end.
Sandmans Tackle Time i was taught by Phil Hyde n Andy copping when setting up for an OTG cast to have my left arm out straight above my head and my right bent in towards me to give the rod more time to load up,nothing wrong with the way ur approaching it as u can clearly empty a spool off line:)
@@tlb3855 We all have our own little unique ways in how to cast mate. I also know a few lads from the casting circle. Bazz Blakeman. Jamie Blakeman. Jay Lea. Owen Moyle. Lee Parker. Mark Mitcheson. And probably the master himself rather than Peter Thain would Be A True True Gentleman. Lew Marsden.....Again a good friend.
