You do a fantastic job reviewing these places, man. You should have your own TV show. You have a way about the delivery of the information that really makes me want to travel to these places and I hate traveling.
Amazing Video and review of this resort! As a Royal Elite member of Sandos, I appreciate when others can also appreciate what Sandos has to offer! Great resort, amazing staff, good food, amazing views!
We actually stayed here at Sandos Finisterra in November of 2021 it was our first vacation together and it was amazing overall. The food and drinks were delicious and the staff was super friendly :). We spent the majority of our week by the adult pool :).
We have stayed at the Finnesterra 7 times and they definitely have a Buffett. Don Diego is the buffet restaurant. They have a great breakfast buffet and though I don’t eat buffet for dinner I have seen it serve buffet style at night as well. Also, I would definitely consider the Agave Steakhouse as a restaurant. They serve a full lunch and dinner menu
Great review James. Beautiful setting for the hotel. Glad you are reviewing more “tranquil” properties. I’m out of the party scene now and tranquility is high on my list! Great job!
I must have visited the Finisterra about 15 times since the early 80s. My last stay was in 2004. Long before the famous marina was constructed down the street. It is in a beautiful location.
If you stay here I recommend the churo's at Don Diego's, the baja shrimp taco's at Agave are probably my favorite thing on the whole property. They are amazing. Stayed here and loved it. Will be going back we bought vacation packages while we were here we enjoyed it so much.
Been here a couple times.. You reviewed it superbly. Great hotel for a more mature audience that gives you everything you need and is located perfectly near local entertainment.
Something to consider, Mazatlan, Sinaloa is on the U.S. State Department "Do Not Travel" list. Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur is on the "excercise increased caution when traveling" list.
thanks so much for your review , and ones you have the royal elite bands all the food gets better , more restaurants available ,free spa wet areas, special amenities and prefer rooms, and more!!! go to the ones in cancun , playa and spain they are awsome to, great locations and safety, cleand ,love them all! if your coming to cabo againg let m know ill be happy to show u how to ge the best of the best! saludos desde cabito !
We love the Hilton Los Cabos but hate how they’ve drastically upped their prices since our first two stays in 2019 and 2021. They do have the only swimmable beach but it’s still pretty swift.
Love the video Coolist! Keep up the grind. Are you able to upgrade your set up to a 4k + Camera? It looks like you're using your iPhone. Thank you and chat soon, I can understand it might look more discrete and you may run into trouble if it looked like professional equipment.
I have watched a lot of your great videos! We want to hear your opinion. We have two kids under 4 (bringing a babysitter). We love food, parting, and luxury. The issue is finding an all-inclusive to meet our needs. What would be your recommendation for us? We like Cabo due to the short travel from DFW.
Hi James, thanks for your fantastic reviews. I love the quality and the care you take to make them. I'm wondering if you will be going on this trip to the Riu Palace as my family and I were there in August and would love to see what your take is on it (we were quite disappointed). One of the things that is interesting is that in the à la carte restaurants in the all inclusives some of them have children's menus and other do not. It makes it difficult sometimes to eat with the family as the kids might not like what's on the menu (the Riu Palace does not have a kids menu). The kids ended up not eating anything and we had to go to the snack bar or Buffet after. You might want to comment if you go to a resort that is not adults only. Which hotels will you be visiting during this Cabo trip? Thanks again and great content!!!
Great video! I was thinking of going there, still hesitate between Sandos, Riu Palace or Hyatt Ziva ? What would you say is the best option for a family of 3 with teenage daughter ?
Hello, we have never been to Los Cabos before. How did you book for transportation from the airport to the hotel? How far is the drive from the airport to the hotel ? Thank you
I went to Don Diego at 945 and was told they only had fajitas. Even though they close at 1030. So we went to the Italian restaurant where the chicken parm was to over cooked to eat and the creme Brule was raw. The room was awesome and the staff was super friendly. Food was nothing special.
Seems like most of that suite is unnecessary. Why have a full kitchen when you eat at the restaurants? Why have a dining room, when you mostly eat outside your room?
I agree, just came back from Cabo with my family in August we stayed 10 days at the Riu Palace and wasn't impressed there either. If you really like swimming in the ocean Cabo is not the place to go. Thank God we were able to use Uber which was fairly inexpensive to go to a swimmable part of medano beach but it was a gong Show with all the vendors asking you to buy something every minute it was relentless. The water was fantastic there and I would recommend taking a water taxi from there and purchase there to go to Pelican Cove to swim and snorkel. It's a small Beach only accessible by water taxi but it's really nice don't bother going to lovers Beach was a waste of time.
Any hotel/Timeshare on Medrado Beach is a plus. Your in the middle of everything fun. Marina/fashion mall/restaurants/night clubs/shopping. You can catch a glass bottom boat to the famous Arch. The Office Restaurant is a must. Your feet are in the sand, they have a fun show with audience participation.
