I don't think we have still ever found out what actually ended their friendship. It seemed to center around Sandra's ex Ingrid but we were never given details. Rumors suggested Madonna hooked up with Ingrid. I always thought instead it was that Sandra got upset when Madonna remained friends with Ingrid after they broke up; I think she expected Madonna to choose sides.

does he know anything about madonna? i lover her artistically but i think because of her mother passing and many friends it made her cold and its a survival technique. she isnt busy and thats why its because she isnt much for nostalgia and looking back. I met a guy he said he was a DJ in NYC in the 80s and he said the same thing about Madonna in the 80s. She wasn’t the revolutionary they say she was and at first only the DJs in NYC knew who Madonna was but he said the club would go crazy everytime they put her on

I have a really positive Madonna story. I live in NYC and 10-15 years ago I did a lot of background/extra work. I did a lot of Boardwalk Empire which was a really good set with the 20s outfits. Well, one of these gigs was two days on W.E. with Madonna. I think it was mostly shot in the UK.This shoot was the auction scene years later selling a bunch of their shit. I was a fit middle-ager and looked nice in my (one and only) suit. This was at Sotheby's. I think it's on Madison Ave big modern building, clear and bright. Madonna interacted with the extras way move that any director in my experience on big shoots. Usually background is handled by assistant directors. They line us all us outside the hall and Madonna gives us all a look over. I didn't know she was so short. She looked really good. I was crushing out on the director for sure. "Take me to the casting couch. But no need to help my career." Somehow I got to be sitting right behind where Abbie Cornish is going to sit and Madonna talks to me from her director's place telling me to bid, before Abbie's character does. That action is not in the edit, but you can see me with my shaved head and charcoal suit probably acting up a pantomime storm, I haven't seen it in awhile, in my seconds of glory. But really it was a very fun day. Madonna talked to us all a lot from where she was sitting directing. These days can be really long and boring. This was long and very interesting really. Not only was Madonna charming BUT they hired the real auctioneer to recreate the scene in the movie. So while they are doing the next set up and such he entertained us by telling up all the stuff about W.E.'s estate articles. That was great. This guy was a Sotheby's auctioneer and had his very own big time success charisma. Madonna was just great and when we were wrapping, she said, "So wasn't this the funnest shoot day!" It was kind of a outrageous thing to say to hardboiled SAG-AFTRA players but we all knew it was true.

Live to Tell is a really great track. More than just "fun".
