Can i just remind people that the interviewer is a Korean speaking in a non-native language here? I'm bilingual in Korean and English and I will tell you that she did a fantastic job communicating with Sandra in the in-depth interview here. Subtle innuendos are extremely difficult to pick up on if you don't have full demand of a language and its culture. So please do not be disrespectful.
I love how she argued. I love how she knows what the character would do, what the character would feel and what is true to the character, instead of JUST entertaining people. Ugh. Sandra Oh, I love you. You get us people on so many levels.
Sandra Oh is so good at telling stories. I love how she expressed the new feeling when she was on a bus in Korea, seeing she looks exactly like everybody but inside she's not.
I admire how she values one's integrity. There are a lot of actors out there who lack this kinda thing. I'd have to say the best quality about being an actor is being true to yourself. Actually, to any person whether they're an actor or not, is to keep true to yourself. Sandra Oh is a really insightful person and I admire her work on Grey's! :) Love ya Sandra!!!!
1. I love her outfit. 2. I love how she uses her hands when she speaks, it's very graceful how she does it and surprisingly earnest. I found it a little strange that she said that Grey's has grown into a soap opera that people love and it makes me wonder what she means by soap -- if it's merely descriptive or if it's with a negative connotation. Anyhoo, great to see her outside of Cristina!
8:33 sandra is really just one of the few actors who really care about the characters they portray. she always cares about the truthfulness of the story for the characters. she's really just brilliant!

If you learn non-english languages, and if that language is very different with your mother tongue, you would hardly learn very perfectly than native people! You guys judging is ridiculous! Be open minded!
I though she did a great job in carrying out the interview. Yes, she does make some grammatical errors and has an obvious accent, but her steadiness in speech and her composure make the interview easy to understand.
she is so right about the importance of the performance being truthful (rather than dramatic), thats why she is so great as Christina, because you beleive everything she does!
im sorry although i can see the show-host would have put countless hours in memorising the lines, i felt there is a big disconnect between her response when our Sandra answers her questions… i feel so cringe when the show host talks …. Would have been better if she asks questions in Korean with subtitle in english for the integrated flow…:-(
Comedy, drama young actresses, and young men actors...I saw the first show on TV in California. I fell in love with Greys Anatomy, everyone else mostly women liked desperate house wives, which was also a m New TV series.
@InmanBach You're right about the interviewer needing to have language fluency but I still applaud her, as the host of her show, to be able to conduct the interview herself in English. Also, have you seen the the host of heart-to-heart on Arirang? Her English is fluent but her interview skills are absolutely appalling. I prefer this lady over her any day. Also, where are all the bilingual Koreans hiding?
@@TheVallex well she probably fully understands it but doesn't speak it due to not being fluent or pronouncing it wrong?? if so, i completely relate. english wasn't my first language, but since moving abroad at 6 i basically don't speak my mother tongue anymore but still understand it
mary leene English is not her first language. And it sounds like you don’t know how to speak another language. That and you can’t even spell “awful” yourself as an English speaker
You're so right about drama in series and movies Sandra! Sometimes I would wish less drama and more of the truth...I would love Cristina and Burke to end up together SO MUCH!! :o xx
