So proud of John Taffer putting on that tribute to black women that is real to me right in front of his experts and his crew and Gordon Ramsay. And it makes Gordon Ramsay happy right in front of John Taffer and his experts and his crew and it's very simple on bar rescue.

John is a good guy or not try to help. You can feel he truly cares for everyone. This is what don't get. The place John goes knows is coming with equipment put up ahead of time. Don't ever see any of them planning to get better. Cleaning, training ECT before hand.

So I've followed up on this place and checked out the reviews on Google. And the one word that applies is: INCONSISTENCY! According to the 1k reviews it's hit or miss whether your food is good and whether you'll receive good customer service. And it's mainly because of the lackadaisical leadership with Frederica as owner. Whenever there's a negative review or constructive criticism, she only responds with a "Thank you." Instead of responding with se type of assurance that steps will be taken to improve that particular discrepancy. I saw One reviewer complain specifically because they ordered wings with all flats. The problem with the order was they were charged $5 extra for that request. The initial complaint was the *AMOUNT of the upcharge, and not the up charge itself. Which is completely valid. The owner responded with, "I don't know a place in Georgia that doesn't upcharge for all drums or all flats." Totally misconstruing the ACTUAL point in the actual complaint itself. No, there isn't a place that doesn't charge for that type of request. HOWEVER, NONE of them charge $5 extra. It's usually anywhere from a .50 to a $2.50 upcharge. $5 is an upscale restaurant charge, and we all know that the Samdtown Pud is the complete OPPOSITE of upscale food and service. She hired Derrick back, which is obviously why the food is inconsistent. Someone with his nasty attitude, entitled hubris, and lack of professionalism should be in jail. On days when the food seems decent is apparently when his brother is working. They've hired new staff, and apparently they're rude and also unprofessional. A woman named "Toy" was specifically mentioned as being extremely rude, along with a few others. Another complaint was a regular orders a Jack Daniel's every time he comes in for the charge of $10. This particular day they were supposedly out of Jack. He was given Jameson instead for the charge of $12. When asked about his order and the discrepancy the male bartender said "it's the same drink." That's pure ignorance, lack of training, or most likely the real reason.... LAZINESS. Jack is indeed a Tennessee whiskey. Jameson is an Irish whiskey, as the reviewer correctly stated in their complaint. Nothing from the owner as far as reassurance. From my findings Frederica has absolutely no clue how to run a business with etiquette and standards. Being in Atlanta in predominantly black city and neighborhoods, it's hard to find individuals with good work ethic and customer service professionalism. The pride is more vanity and arrogance. The attitude is toxic, defiant, and combative. No one expects employees to be abused or treated like 2nd class citizens for the service they provide. But WE as consumers do not deserve to be treated like we're a burden to these service industry people when we ask for standard, professional, reasonable service. It's as if asking to get orders right or paying attention to simple details are going above and beyond the call of duty for these people. It's like simply asking them to correct a mistake is asking them to cut off their appendage as an atonement for getting the order wrong. That's completely lazy, entitled, toxic. And when individuals are allowed to behave like that, it's due to poor leadership. The owner wants a meal ticket without putting forth the effort to put out quality service CONSTANTLY. She's gone back to the same habits as before the rescue. Another perfect example of how most people only change long enough to pacify a situation that they've caused in the first place. She was given a second chance, but like many other rescues, she didn't deserve it. There should never be part-time appreciation. Either you fully appreciate someone helping you by showing them how committed you are to maintain what they've done for you. You show lack of appreciation when you go back to your old ways.
