When I was in high school we had a staged drunk driver accident right in front of the school. Notices were sent out by the school a few weeks before to parents. Two cars were staged to have crashed into each other, two dead kids with Halloween fake blood on their bodies, a schoolmate of mine performing the part of a news anchorwoman reporting the scene. Real ambulances and paramedics on scene to enact for the rest of the school watching how they did their job, etc. *And no real news crew around to report to the community claiming it was real* That’s the type of fake crisis scenarios done for schools. Gives kids a glimpse into harsher aspects of life that are more unpredictable.

My sons first year of school was last year. This is why I put him in a private school Because nobody that's not known can not come I. That school. The doors stay locked at all times. Nobody could just walk in. You have to be let in. It's sad but I could never send my son to a public school. They should have to keep those doors locked n not let anyone in once that bell rings unless they are known. It's sad but true.

You can still buy non automatic/semi-automatic guns in CT, as well as train in a shooting range, and receive the the license to carry as long as you don't have any mental health issues.
