I’ve been drowning in awareness ever since, at turns excitedly hopeful for the “mass awakening” (🙄), and bitterly resentful for both these crimes against humanity *and* the willfully ignorant masses who can’t summon the courage or strength to critically examine their worldview. Sustained denial -> complicity, and it’s hard to not fall into hatred for our fellow man for being too fearful +/or prideful to open their eyes. I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist...but there is something that STINKS to high heaven about the Newtown shooting. Robbie Parker laughing before his press conference, Gene Rosen practicing his lines in front of the camera before he went on the news, not a single parent showing the kind of genuine, undeniable grief when a parent loses their child. Every parent's response seems like a person trying to act like they're grieving, not a person who's actually grieving. It just sets off my BS detectors...I feel like I'm being lied to and it disturbs me.
