Sanguem market in dire condition; Vendors demand immediate renovation 

The Sanguem Dy Collector building and the adjacent fish market are in poor condition. Inside the building, water is reportedly leaking from the seals, and the walls of the shops are damaged. Trees have even started growing inside the building. Building construction rods are not covered, exposing them to potential dangers. With the market condition comparable to a public toilet, no customers are willing to come. This in turn has affected the business of the market vendors, who are demanding the municipality clean and renovate the market area.
