I cry every time I watch this episode. Luffy and Sanji are definitely my favorite characters.

"That's just how you are" THE WAY I START BAWLING ANY TIME I READ THAT LINE. Luffy loves, understands and accepts Sanji _so much_ . That's the sweetest thing you can say to someone that had a past like Sanji's. Where he was abused on the basis of how he was born, for traits he could not help. Traits that actually made him a kind person.

That's not Caesar. His name is Gangster Gastino.

These daily eps have made WCI so much more digestable through the anime format; it somehow does justice to how the good the arc is overall

Sanji revealing all the traits he’s been told are weak and make him a failure to luffy and Luffy saying “well that’s how you are.” Made me sob so hard 😭

Sanji is the kindest character ever His so called family ruined his entire childhood but he still wants to save them This is something Oda had shown throughout the one piece Sanji has a kind heart for everyone even an insect That is why he doesn't want to leave baratie because his kindness holds him back from chasing his dream he felt indebted to zeff and wants to repay the debt but Zeff didn't want it because Sanji has already done enough Sanji was basically a slave of his own kindness. He wants to be free but can't bring the courage to leave his debt to Zeff until Luffy showed up and liberated Sanji from his kindness by showing him what it means to chase one's Dream

For live action, I would like the line, "Well, that's how you are." to be first spoken by Sanji's mom. Then, Judge says it in a different context, completely crushing Sanji's self-worth. And finally, when Luffy says it, it reminds him of how his mother says it, thus cancelling Judge's judgy judgement forever.

When I first saw this Sanji moment I remember when he dove down the frozen lake to save Kin'emon's body. Man's literally just a kind soul. Unless you're Elizabeth.

And a mere handful of episodes later, we're all praying for Big Mom to stop screaming about wedding cake

Just knowing how dark and bleak the arc gets adds even more gravity to how simply luffy says "let's crash the wedding" as if its not emperor big mom's tea party and its not a whole army to just 5 straw hats...He says it so casually, that line always gets me.

Luffy and sanji will forever be my top 2, I love them way too much
