The laudable documentary has been considerably marred by the quality of the sound which is too low to be properly heard and enjoyed. However, the poet Sankhya Ghosh comes closer to me for his nostalgia for his homeland . Both the man and the poet are superbly captured in the documentary. I did relish the reading of his poems but I had to read the English renditions mostly for the awfully low sound. The use of Rabindra Sangeet is also apt. But these comments are redundant as the director is the redoubtable Buddhadeb Dasgupta!
