I have the Royal X8 Longbow 68" already and love it. Would like to get the Royal X8 One-Piece Traditional Recurve 60", but am concerned about the 60" length. I am 6'3" tall and have a 29" draw...would this stake to much for me or would this still be okay? Also, would I have any finger pinch...I shoot split finger.
Sensei, would you say this is better than the black hunter? (Still consider myself a newb lol) I’ve mentioned prior but it’s for small game hunting. I don’t know which is better between the two, but I got the noble cause of your review so figured I’d ask
Brother thx for your information and videos but can you help me with something, i have a 30 31 inch draw length i having problems finding 70 inch traditional hunting bows what do you prefer for long draw length shooters thank you so much
The recurve looks like, both look like they just copy the look of other popular bows. Which we know isn't uncommon, just by looking at how man Black Hunter copies are out there, how many Samick Sage copies are out there. I do think its unfortunate that the brace height isn't where it needs to be out the bag and there isn't anything to tell the customer about it. These bows are ideal for beginners, beginners would understandably not know about brace height and how to get it where it needs to be. Its a nice looking bow though, if I was in the market for a budget recurve I'd consider it. Nice review as always.
The bow is good value, but I had to order a 56 inch string for mine because the string they sent was too long, just like the one you got, which is what screwed up the brace height for you.
Pity they start at 30# ... a beginer bow should be 25# or ideally 20# ... also I was unable to find the max draw spec anywhere ... I guess I have to wait for Armin to review this one ... btw are you using the same camera ? because I can clearly see the string wobble on the underbraced shots while it looks solid on the properly braced ones ...
Cant really call the bow a traditional bow as it's got a chunk cut out of it to try and make it more of a centre shot bow, traditional bows in my opinion are one piece un altered that don't have any chunk of wood cut out of it to try and make a centre shot bow...
